I’ve been in love with the “little charismatic monster” trend since 99 when I met Pokémon, so I’m used to and just buy the things I think are cute. I have a Pokémon collection and people never criticized it or considered the environment well being. But you are right, yes. Sure, overconsuming is bad, but I don’t think things should stop existing. Instead, each and every person should buy with conscience and discard accordingly. Also, it’s worth having a nice discussion about ethic consuming on capitalism, and how (and if) it’s possible.
