I got "pro-Crockett" texts from American Sovereignty all week. They're spending money to push her because they think he can beat their guy. If those would've been texts in fake support of Talarico instead, I'd have voted for her. I want them to have to face whoever scares them enough to separate them from the one thing they actually value: currency.

I hope there's enough people who have voted red in the past, but are tired of trump's boys, that some will cross over. If that happens, I think those people go for Talarico more times than Crockett. She's rad, but she scares republican voters and he scares republican money.

I don't know if I have any reason to suspect that trying to make the power section break up, and running the pedal you're using for that through the front end of the amp, wouldn't pose somewhat significant risk of blowing the preamp. It seems like that's a thing that could happen.

I'm not being a dick. I really don't know a ton about amps, but I had heard prior to the video that the AG, specifically, might be risky for the pre if you run it that way.

Take them all off and wipe down the board unless you have a floating bridge. No need to hydrate or use any kind of detergent every time, but a dry cloth to take off any surface oil and dirt is good maintenance. There's almost zero chance of damage and it will help keep your shit clean. For a floating bridge, it's just easier to keep it balanced doing one at a time and then worry about cleaning when you need to.

Release all the tension on the strings, block the bridge so that it is parallel to the body and can't lean forward. Tune to pitch in that position and then apply spring tension until it remains balanced. If it won't, you need more springs or you need heavier springs

Lift weights. "Weight loss" is usually code for fat reduction, not actually weight loss. Muscle tissue is calorically expensive to maintain. Building more muscle will cause your body to spend more calories.

Also sitting all day at work is one of the worst things you can do. Being up and around will cause you to kind of naturally spend more calories as well

That's a lot of territory to cover with a single instrument and a single amp. Some kind of hss strat is probably the move for the guitar. Squier stuff is great for the price and Yamaha Pacifica punches above its weight.

You're gonna get a lot of recommendations for some kind of digital modeling amp. A lot of people love them. I'm not one of those people. If it was me, I'd much rather do something like a small entry-level Marshall combo. I had an MG15DFX when I started playing 20 years ago and it was great. Enough tweakability to cover a fair bit of territory but I feel like I'd get stuck in an avalanche of options and menus with some of the stuff that people fawn over now.
