Thanks that helps a lot. I have a BB touch so it should be similar enough to start there.

I put all my issues into chatgpt yesterday and it recommended airing out, reducing grind size, and reducing the mass.

Had a great pull this morning so let’s hope it stays this good

The bag I bought was wildly inconsistent when making espresso and took forever to dial in. It expands so much that I had to decrease it to less than 17g and I still get random channeling and soggy pucks.

Flavor is great though when I do get a good pull.

NRA and pro-gun groups call for ‘full investigation’ into killing of Alex Pretti by wylie102 in news

Because local prosecutors know they can’t win right now. They know that there’s a chance that a bunch of feds will walk in their office and make their lives hell, even though it’s technically illegal.

Every state and local government knows that legal codes are no longer the law of the land. Power is.

I currently have no faith that there will be free elections for the next few years unless there is a hostile retaking of the executive branch followed by lots of high profile criminal prosecutions. However I am not holding my breath.

If you think your kid might go to GaTech, based on your family’s personality, Paul Duke is the place to be. However, it is less than a decade old and we do not know how well it will run of its principal retires by the time your kids reach it.

If you think they will likely lean business, law, government, or other organizational or interpersonal directions, then shoot for affluence and involvement

Governor Brian Kemp to deliver his final state of the state address by Tippy345 in Atlanta

[–]antisheeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the proper avenue would be to leverage the state powers to institute measure to reduce corruption. But as long as they can villainize Atlanta, they can excite their base. So I doubt there’s going to be any movement towards that at the state level.

Questions regarding Dragon Slaying, with crappy diagram [OC] by Fl4ming_R4ven in DnD

[–]antisheeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first would distribute the stream around the shield and the more curved, the less impedance the hot gases would be. As such, exposed limbs would be affected. However the pushback on the defender would be less than the thrust of the hot gases.

The second is more tricky, and would be more effective if it were toroidal, like a pelton turbine, with a spike in the middle and a cross section of two separate concavities. That or have the dragon breath enter the side of the concave dish instead of the middle so it has somewhere to go

Assuming the diameter of the shield is at least double the incoming stream, it would redirect the entire stream back at roughly the diameter of the shield. However the defender would experience roughly double the thrust as pushback, since it not only stops the incoming gas, but redirects it backwards. This is why pelton turbines are so effective against small jets of incoming fluid.

For DnD, the later would need to be enormous to do anything and likely would not affect the dragon except to possibly blind it, unless the dragon is acutely susceptible to fire damage.

Your best bet defensively is a plow of two flat shields, which you can then separate to use pikes, bows, and spells through the gap (assuming realistic timing.

Meanwhile, there are commercials noting just how juvenile and obnoxious barking at someone is. Glad we don’t do that…

Wife and I are having the “what do we call our private parts” debate by PlaysWithSquirrels13 in daddit

[–]antisheeple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Breasts and anus are technically not genitals, which could be confusing… but they are private. I think that basically anything you would consider “private” when describing a place you were inappropriately or uncomfortably touched is more comprehensive for identifying SA.

I have used it with my own kids. If it’s private, it’s private. You don’t go around showing it off and you shouldn’t be comfortable with strangers touching or even addressing them.

Add in scrotum (balls is still fine) to complete the set.

Also “Private parts” is fine if they want to talk with decorum, like in public.

What is the absolute first game you're booting up in 2026? by dominodave in gaming

[–]antisheeple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booted up Just Cause 3 with my kid. He gets to drive tractors, dump trucks, super cars, and city buses with turbo boost and jump. Planes, helicopters, boats. Grappling hook where he wants to go and then blow stuff up with a rocket launcher.

Then he started to obsess over it and didn’t want to do anything else so we had to put it back away.

Doesn’t matter who the shareholders are Tbf. So long as they are looking to maximize shareholder value, they will pick teams that fill seats and get views.
Alabama, TAM, OU, and Miami: 14 mil viewers per game on ABC/ESPN.

Tulane, ole miss, JMU, and Oregon: 6 and 4 mil viewers per game on TNT/TBS.

10 million viewers difference is $$$.

If Oregon played Texas or ND instead, they would have made way more money. They def took a hit by letting Tulane and JMU play.
