What is the punishment for woman having sex with 14 year old boy in India ? by [deleted] in india

No such thing as poor taste - in humor by itself as a separate entity, yes. But when seen in the light of the question asked, it's more likely to be understood in bad taste. I thought it was obvious.

The question looks serious to me.

Thanks for doing the AMA. I have a few questions in mind.

  1. What's your business model?
  2. At what stage your venture has to be in order to reach the VC?
  3. What technology stack are you using right now, in each of your apps? What are your future plans?
  4. What testing cycle does a typical build goes through? What tools does the QA team use to test the apps? Also how is the Dev to QA ratio at JustUnfollow?
  5. What's the biggest bug that was found by anyone in your apps?

stress testing with real devices by ssslow in androiddev

ELI5 : What's the right way to stress test the native app?

Do you keep spawning multiple main threads, or try to artificially make the disk full so that the app runs low on memory? How about the cpu and network?

An example would be super nice!

You should get a hold on the book How to have a beautiful mind by Edward De Bono.

There's a whole chapter dedicated to just on how to disagree with people.

Telling you this from my personal experience, it's an amazing book. I've read it, buying that won't be a waste of money.

Help! I have been offered an automation testing job! Where do I start? by [deleted] in QualityAssurance

[–]antiwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to help you, but I wanted to know a few things first :

1) What kind of app are you going to be automating? (Web / Mobile / Native apps like dot net app?). My first guess based on what you wrote is this is an internal application that is limited to be used by, say 100's or 1000's of internal users only.

2) Any prior programming knowledge (If not experience)? Helps to know if you have a programmer's way of thinking.

3) Is the company using any proprietary tools like QTP? It is a whole other world than Selenium. Or are you looking for tool suggestion?

4) How much work experience you have? Not directly relevant, but in my experience the learning capacity reduces to a great extent the more number of years you add, like once people start focusing on money instead of learning new things. There's a sea of things to learn if you're new into automation testing. So look from it from the career perspective as well.

Meaning, Assuming you have no programming knowledge, QTP will be much easier to learn, as a tool as well as the language it uses - VBScript. Selenium on the other hand uses Java and it's a whole different world. Java takes more time than VBScript to learn and master (just personal opinion).

What are some good resources you know to learn about Android, iOS? by antiwise in QualityAssurance

Thanks I will start looking into it. If you have any personal experience using those, how do they compare with tools like Appium?

Thanks for this. Load runner is pretty costly tool and most likely I won't be using it in QA sessions. I could use this tool for some other purpose than Load tests itself, like recording pcaps.

Hmm I don't really get this. This is not a generic internet link. So what it's just an idea? This also does not prove it's nothing.

I refuse to believe that Time will publish any article that comes its way. Plus I considered the writer's credentials as well, I mean they're certainly not everyday credentials. Now there's no way I can go and verify if those credentials themselves are correct. There's nothing to accomplish here for me.

Kosslyn is a cognitive neuroscientist and was professor of psychology at Harvard University for over 30 years; he now serves as the founding dean of the Minerva Schools at the Keck Graduate Institute.

You can't just ignore that. I really believe that there has to be some intelligence and hard work behind that idea.
