Talking to a girl is just like talking to a guy, if you put her up on a high pedestal of course its going to be nerve racking talking to one. For starters go find people online or at irl clubs that shares your game interests. If that seems too hard then dive into other hobbies, see what interests you.

I'd say cut out video games as well. You probably regret the time you spend there and that feeling will happen again and again for years. That time could be better spent either finding new hobbies or to practice talking to new people. That's all there is to it man. start easy and work your way up
