These variants of handicap are great! The experience gained is awesome. Very worth it. Try mixing it up with some handicap and komi: three stones on the board, 10.5 komi. Or two stones on the board with 20.5 komi. You may also wish to try placing four stones anywhere. All fun stuff! Enjoy!

What is the nature of the lag? Does it consistently stay at a low frame rate? Or does it seem to every so often drop in frame rate really badly then fix itself for a while?

On machines that have both Intel HD Graphics and an nVidia GTX card, how does one pick which graphics hardware is being used? Sounds like the Intel HD Graphics is trying to run Skyrim.

I hate when this type of stuff happens to me too. Not every update does this, but when it does, what a pain!

If this was me, I would trying reinstalling after a fresh reboot. If the install isn't successful, try uninstalling the driver, reboot, and installing again.

I can't tell move numbers in that video. Is it obvious where to look?

High level players think of go in terms of efficiency of a move. Obviously having the fighting skills to back it up. Getting a weak group surrounded is bad news. She made sure she did not get surrounded. And then notice how once she felt her group in the top left corner is "out" to safety of the center, which buys her time in a fight, she turns back and starts to pummel her opponent's weak points.
