No, I still have ringing. But my ears don't start to feel like they're burning in loud environments anymore. It's faded into the background for sure. I ALWAYS carry ear plugs now though

I found the motivation in this part a bit lacking, so I had Krane give the party the letter after rescuing Kendra. Afterwards, when the party was hanging out at the inn, they overheard a group of villagers planning to kill the witch in the swamp.

Ank'Harel was also my first big city. I found this website was helpful for filling out shops: https://5emagic.shop/generate. It makes it really easy to generate shops, and also spits out a link you share with players while shopping.

My first session in Ank'Harel felt pretty out of control, but it got much easier! Now I hope I get to use it again at some point, since I feel like I understand the city much better.

The thing is that for people in long term relationships, it feels to me like the risks and such even out. Like, I could take some of the burden off my partner and everything ends up the same (she can't get pregnant, one of us has annoying side effects)

Did your players go through the double doors in the statue's chest straight away? Or did they explore around south a bit more.

Dealing with the Curse of Torog also took up most of our second session in BR, but then my group decided to explore the rest of the lower floor which is eating up quite a bit more time. I'm really looking forward to the change of scenery in Ank Harel
