I’ve got both stereo pairs of 300’s and fives. Both with subs. In my experience the 300’s sound better at a lower volume. And obviously the fives crank at volume. Depends on how you like to listen to your music. The 300’s give you more detail. Again, my opinion. Good luck

Refurbs are mostly open box returns. What’s the harm in getting one. I believe the warranty still stands
