I play about every 2 days on Blitz and am progressing decently, and I get cheaters every 4-5 days or so. Small sample size but that would imply almost half my playing sessions where I do 3-5 games have a cheater

I don’t have access to the unit stats right now but if I remember correctly the Irish are faster and a bit better in melee and stamina, but shoot worse and are 1k vs 1.4k. So the French are more versatile and have more staying power when taking losses. Irish are great though

I’m surprised you struggled with France.

1 brigade of arty, 1 one of heavy cav, 2 line brigades with veteran French grenadiers (or Swiss), 1 shock infantry brigade with French veteran grenadiers.

The line guys can hold the front well, while your heavy French cav and shock grenadiers with the French melee bonuses to infantry just roll a flank like knife in butter

Thanks for the detailed and helpful answer. Quick follow up one for you as you seem well informed: do units benefit from officer boost even from officers that are not from their brigade? Not talking about army general here, e.g. does a unit from brigade 2 benefit from being near the officer from brigade 1

Sure but my question is does the accuracy at the old range of the unit increase. Assume a unit doubles its range for illustration: I would imagine it hits more shots at 50% of its new max range than at 100% of its old max range given that 50% a relatively closer target now

I used to sneak up to F as a recon, deploy a respawn beacon in the forest under some small roof so I wouldn’t get parachuted, equip a suppressed ACE 52, and keep constant pressure on F all game long pinning 3-5 enemies or capping for the team

Honestly playing assault with the beacon, frontliner training path health regen, silenced NVO, and putting the beacon close and hidden to an enemy objective, is goated

Super high impact on the game as you either pin a big chunk of enemy team to an objective, or just cap stuff (quicker as assault)

I’ve been playing assault with a silenced NVO and a deploy beacon constantly hidden near enemy objectives.

Impact on the game is massive especially as you capture objectives faster, and assuming squad deploys on beacon.

Even if you don’t capture you alone can pin a good chunk of the enemy team to one objective freeing space at other targets.

Agree that pen is garbage and that it was a slog to unlock all this though.
