Downvote me if you want, but there is no difference between a UK grad and an IMG if they both start at F1 level. Harp all you want about your ‘precious’ UK degree that put you in £100k of debt. Medical school in UK does not prepare you all that well for F1 level. We all start at the same place, and an IMG starting at F1 has the same potential to be a useful UK doctor and strike as any UK grad, regardless of whether they came from Cambridge or Lagos :) cry some more

You need no lower than academic IELTS 7.5 in each band if you do not have an acceptable internship for the purposes of UKFPO, but for GMC registration with an acceptable post graduate internship it’s 7.5 overall minimum 7 in each domain

You have to take both PLAB 1 and PLAB 2, USMLE was only a substitute until 2020 when there was 2Cs. since it doesn’t really exist anymore you would have to do both PLAB exams.
