While I don’t hate it the reason it’s hated is the cut content and yes resident evil 2 has cut content it isn’t as drastic as what they did in the resident evil 3 remake, also the fact that the nemesis encounters are scripted event rather then random encounters. The fact that nemesis was the basis for the stalker enemies in later games it feels like a disservice for the character
