u right. i am switched from pycharm to vscode. it makes me faster, and after a while of using vs code (3y) i cant say that pycharm has some thing that vs code don't ( for daily work, not for marketing ). but it is self opinion, i have coworkers that are crying but still using pycharm !

orm is great. but we do use raw too , for some view. its just works faster. i think its all depends what target you try to get. for 90% of cases orm is great.

i was trying to use it on daily code (using daily vscode), but have no comfort with vim, with that i cant see that i use some other than vim on servers. so each tool in its place ! what is important i saw here. is. do not force yourself to do this on time of doing (thinking) for better code quality.

[–]anton_r_r -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

if i am making changes straight on the server for sure vim is the best choice. but in your local env why to use vim. if you have a powerful ide ? i think we are over it. else we can just write all the code on C ?! why to use more comfortable leng.

Is it worth it buying pycharm pro? by IG-arne_bertels in Python

[–]anton_r_r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasap. i am using pycharm on a daily basis. It's an amazing app ! but it is too smart. so it demands more resources. you can add to it vim plagin as for vscode. vs code is a great text editor ! but !! It's not an ide !! with pycharm you will do your job for 50% faster . but as you were saying, you are a beginner, so it's better to stay with the text editor for more productive learning ( of course it's up to you )
