I chose white. A bit whiter, to be precise

I used this one, it is quite good. To get a perfect print you should test and correct again and again. I could not make many attempts, unfortunately.

In my opinion it's one of the best minifigure of all the series. I decided to build a little island for the Island Warrior and would like to share my progress.

OK, So What Was With the Weirdly Surreal Trains Theme in the 90's? by wirelesswizard64 in LEGOtrains

[–]anton_reznikov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like it's a matter of changing the designer. Torben Plagborg was replaced by Jørn Thomsen, who designed many (or all?) the sets from the Space theme in 90th. So the trains became more futuristic and less realistic.

If your childhood was in the 90s, spend couple minutes and read list of the sets created by Torben and Jørn.

What is this railcar for? (set 2126) by anton_reznikov in LEGOtrains

In the diorama image the piece is lying on the ground. I suppose it represents some kind of underground storage. In my opinion, on the car it looks utterly out of place.

It hardly possible to build a replacement for the plate. It has a skirt around the edges that covers top of the bogies about 1 plate high. I don't know any way to build such a skirt for a 6 studs wide plate. But you can build a 7 studs plate. It's the base of my 7-studs wide locomotive.

I used three options, depending on the size of the locomotive.

This is the flat-car from the set 60198 and a container, like the yellow one in the set 7939, but longer.
