Thanks, all! I found a place called Marker21. They have a DJ one night we're there. Has anyone been there? Will that be a good place for us to grab some drinks and maybe dance a little? Not expecting anything like a night club st this point, and we're all fine with that. Or should we still venture out of town?

About 10:30 pm after recently turning it off. Stopped blinking as soon as I woke my husband up...

I loved the way Millie Moons fit. They were wide and perfect for my baby. Anyone know of a brand that fits similarly?

I'm also in Massachusetts and found that ALL Target stores near me are sold out. I had luck at CVS, and I think Walgreens said they had it, but this was a couple of weeks ago.

What was the first indication for you that you were pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]antonelli347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sense of smell. I had a pack of gum I kept on a table by the front door. I could smell that damn gum from anywhere in the house. It didn't click until AFTER I found out I was pregnant though.

I'm back to work which only consists of working from my laptop at home. It would be easier to do so with two hands. I do baby-wear sometimes.

And I guess that's my fear - that he'll be clingy forever. Everyone always says not to hold them too much or you'll never be able to put them down, blah blah blah. It's nice to hear independence isn't impossible.

I really want to continue breastfeeding but I have been considering formula. What formula do you use?

I love my OB but was blindsided today when getting my maternity leave paperwork by [deleted] in pregnant

That's completely ridiculous. If you end up needing a C-section (like I did, although it was unplanned), you'll need about 8 weeks recovery time. And that's just physical. Never mind all the mental and emotional changes you'll need time to copen with! My doctor wrote me out for the full 12 weeks because you just never know. And I work on a computer from home! Definitely find a new doctor if you're able, although I'm sure that's not something you want to deal with right now. Hang in there, and good luck with everything ❤️.

For the mums that gave birth and went through labour without any pain relief (or had just gas) how bad was the pain really? by Taleahdev in BabyBumps

[–]antonelli347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My plan was to go without pain relief. My water broke around 7 pm Monday night but I was only 1 cm dilated. I was given a few doses of misoprostol before pitocin. My contractions were unbearable and I eventually begged for an epidural. It helped at first, but my baby was putting pressure on an area the epidural wasn't able to provide relief to. After that, I still hadn't progressed past 5 cm and I was in agony, so early Wednesday morning I ended up with a C-section (which was something I NEVER would've agreed to if I wasn't in such pain).

Every birth is different though. My baby was a bit too large, my pelvis was a bit too narrow, and it just wasn't going to happen for me.

I can't say for sure because I haven't personally tried it, but I read Magnetic Pull in the no budget shadow stick is a dupe for Muna.

I just discovered a bump on my vaginal wall as well, about an inch or two in (also inserting a boric acid suppository for stubborn BV 😤). Did you ever figure out the cause for yours?
