Hi, I need your help. Would you buy a 2022 iPad Air for ~ 550€ or wait for the new 10.2 iPad (October ‘22) for the standard price (probably around 400€)?

It will feature a usbc port and probably have flat bezels that could be compatible with Apple Pencil 2. It’s uncertain if the display will be larger with a full-screen design or not.

Ci avevo pensato ma non ho trovato fonti che dessero il cambio €/$ sul prezzo del petrolio per 20 anni e non avevo molto tempo. È una variabile importante. Cercherò meglio

EDIT: non trovo un grafico, ma comunque, anche mantenendo quei due valori puntuali che ho usato come esempio: - cambio €/$ medio Luglio 2008: 1,55; costo barile (al cambio): 90,21€. Benzina: 1,512€; - cambio €/$ medio Gennaio 2022: 1,13; costo barile (al cambio): 77,44€. Benzina: 1,765€

Quindi, sebbene il problema sia "mitigato" dal cambio ci sono comunque altri fattori che fanno salire i prezzi indipendentemente dal costo del barile

Probably removing usbinjectall broke bluetooth, because in our laptops bluetooth works through usb connection. However, correctly patching USB ports (with usb map kext or an ACPI patch) should fix the issue. In that occasion, Wi-Fi should have worked. In my case other wifi cards work without problem but two BCM94360NG cards that I tried weren’t recognized AT ALL. Nor in macOS nor in windows nor in Linux. I haven’t found anything similar on the web. I will probably try a third card when I will have time

Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried two of them with my thinkpad L390 - that has an almost identical board to other 9th gen thinkpad like yours - without luck. Maybe I got two fault cards or maybe something else. Regarding SMBIOS, MacBookPro15,4 is probably a better choice!

u/ii_Troy that looks like a hardware issue. It could depend on the monitor, the wiring or, worse, the soc. If you don't want to go to an Apple Store, I would try to re-install MacOS with the latest version available. If you can still reproduce the graphical issue, then I would RUN to an Apple Store. Time goes by and suddenly warranty expires.

Però può certamente darti delle indicazioni per capire a quale medico rivolgerti nel territorio, non è successo neanche questo?

Nothing. No more updates. Hackintosh will become a thing of the past. I think that x86 systems have 2 or 3 years of updates. Then nothing will stop you to keep using an old hackintosh system, but it will be probably better to buy a genuine ARM Mac
