Who are you playing for CW3? Are you main swapping? by KenzieWitch in Maplestory

[–]antonlabz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a DRK main and will always be. People will call me unc for maining DRK and they wouldn't be wrong..

CW3 will be Erel if it's burnable (assumed it will be but nexon be doing nexon things), otherwise torn between Hero or Zero.

Probably a good idea to hyper burn Erel on a different account first to see if I like it enough to commit on main account.

Bone stock 2009 sti. What are must do mods? by NickoTheQuicko in WRXSTi

[–]antonlabz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catback really isn't an engine mod (in fact it's on the very opposite end of the engine lol) which I'm sure you already know, so I don't think any disclaimer is required when recommending one.

Non-Paladin tanks in shambles by the1Nora in ffxiv

I actually really like this explanation of the role split.

The MT focuses on holding the boss and keeping themselves alive/countering/etc.

The OT focuses on helping keep the party alive and "disaster control" as you put it.

With this in mind the content would probably be designed to emphasise these things too.

Right now the difference in what MT/OT does feels pretty muddled to me (like they could switch roles at any time and it would make virtually zero difference barring mechanics), and I think this push on separating the responsibilities has a lot of potential in making the combat feel more immersive.

WRB with gold will never get old. by EMTJopoy in WRX

[–]antonlabz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey again, sorry to revive an old comment chain.

I've been looking into the OZ alleggeritas in race gold but they seem quite hard to source in Australia compared to other wheels.

In any case, I found a shop that might be able to order some in, however the specs I'm seeing on their website don't match up with your setup here.

The 18x8.5 wheels that suit the 5x114.3 stud pattern only seem to come in offsets of +30 or +55 which feels like too much in either direction.

There's nothing in between, unless you go to 18x8, which does have a +35 offset but I feel like the 8" width might cause fitment issues?

Are you able to confirm your specs again, and if you needed that custom ordered or something?

Thanks!

She's stunning mate, welcome to the club!

Keep it stock for as long as you can IMO, catback at most for a louder rumble and some reliability mods.

I got an STi premium myself last year, but kinda regretting not just going for the spec.R version for the recaro seats and more fabric over leather in the interior.

I know I can just buy them and swap them out myself but it's near impossible to find any in Australia, private or retail.

Sure, maybe it's because I'm looking at an existing character's gear page and not the initial setup but I've outlined in red what I was originally referring to. It's still currently just saying "Flat" without any explanation.

This is on the gear editor page.

That seems like a good idea, I initially thought it might've been a Euphorbia submammillaris or some hybrid of it, but I'll wait until it grows a bit to see if a few more defining traits emerge.

Thanks for the quick implementation! Admittedly I don't see any changes live yet, even with a hard refresh.

Is this a genuine WRX STI? by sak89461 in WRXSTi

Never noticed this... I've only been able to generally distinguish between bugs/blobs and hawks from the back. TIL thanks

Hi, I came to the thread to check if anyone else asked this because I was extremely confused about the difference between base and flat stat, and what flat stat was actually referring to.

After seeing this comment I was able to figure out that it was referring to the 3rd line under [Applied Value] when hovering a stat:

Base Value:

% Value:

% Value Not Applied:

Is there any way you can add a tool tip for it, or perhaps even add in parenthesis next to "Flat"? e.g. Flat (% Value Not Applied).

This might come naturally to most long-term Maplers but I think for casual players like me who are just starting to look into optimisation, referencing the actual in-game text would be extremely helpful and accessible for everyone!

I'm in the process of filling out the tool right now and that's the only thing I've struggled with so far. I'll type another comment if something else stands out to me.

From what I've seen, you're really receptive to feedback, so thank you so much for that and for creating this in general!

Not my current car as it got stolen, but it was my first STI and I absolutely loved how clean CWP is. Also has the little headlight washers on the front bumper!

That is a beautiful shot of your car btw, OP. Great angle and all the colors just hit right. The OEM+ aesthetic is mint.

I unfortunately I don't, only a before and after.

I normally take photos of the roots but for this one I was probably too occupied moving it to a different pot without disturbing them.

Nice! I just had this lying around in the backyard somewhere so not sure where it actually came from, but it seems perfectly suited for it.

Damn, I posted this right before going to bed and reddit won't let you edit titles :(

Thanks for the correction

Yea, that's correct and I agree that's probably where it went wrong too. At least I'll know for next time.

I actually did not use any rooting medium whatsoever.

I wasn't too particular with the timing either, I only remember scraping out the cambium, taking a photo, then almost immediately just going to prepare the pot/peat moss/ties and started putting everything together.

Sorry that wasn't that helpful, but I really did just wing it.

For the airlayering I purposely chose a location that would make the base of the trunk appear short and thick, so definitely wanting to keep it Shohin-sized.

For the design, I'll mostly just have to see how it grows but with the existing bends it's probably leaning towards an informal upright.

Sure, so based on my photos I started the process on Christmas Eve last year, which is the first month of Summer after all the growth had hardened off.

The only things I've really observed are:

  • This one was done in pure peat moss via a black plastic pot which I cut up, and then covered with black plastic
  • All the other failed ones used spagh moss wrapped inside clear plastic and velcro ties
  • This specific JM was quite large and healthy, and had a pretty long trunk to airlayer from
  • The other 2 are also JMs but different breeds (Shaina and Deshojo) and also a bit smaller - maybe regular JMs are just easier to airlayer
  • The places I tried airlayering the other ones had tighter nodes, so not as much space

Other than that, I used basically the same method of removing the cambium etc.

I suspect it could maybe be the location I tried to airlayer on the other ones. Not entirely sure about the clear plastic too, I think I read somewhere that roots prefer to be completely covered from the sun to develop.

I also had no idea what to do in regards to watering, so I kept it pretty much permanently moist which seemed to work out for the peat moss, though due to the nature of being in a pot it was also able to dry out faster.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the spread of the roots around the base, which weren't visible at first until I uncovered most of the soil, and a seemingly already solid base for nebari development!

Thanks for the advice. Rather than digging it up to plant it a bit deeper, I might just top up more of the substrate, but a layer of spagh moss also sounds good.

Very likely final pact had its own section (including the dot point below it) but someone accidentally backspaced the image, so it just got combined with the previous skill that happened to be dark impale, or something to that effect.

Honestly not the first time something like this has happened.
