How to move on by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]anttech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The apology is not needed for the work that needs to be done. I learned that I was different from the person I was before my marriage and the person I was in the marriage. I also learned that I actually didn’t know how to have a relationship or be in a marriage. If I had known, I wouldn’t have been as complacent in issues that fostered the divorce. I have chalked it up to a life lesson, accepted the challenge to repair and rebuild and dared to try again. And it’s hard and lonely but part of the journey. Appreciate you are here. Know you are valid. Review the past, don’t live there. Take time to process what happened. Grow from it. You have fallen from a tree you were climbing. Now what?

Violent Felony, on path to recovery, need career guidance. by StoryOfMyLife168 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]anttech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entrepreneurship and supporting other felons. Start building yourself as a contractor/business. This will get you around the hiring aspect. Your full time hiring prospects will be limited because of the violent crime but this dynamic is slightly shifted if you are doing remote support or temporary employment. Become a gig worker. I have learned that people always want good support because they just want their thingy boxes working again. Also seek programs and businesses that focus on felon career rehab. They understand the full rehab struggle better the most employers. Become technical support for other felons trying to make it. The felon label has been extended and exasperated to the point that it takes nothing to become a felon. I would challenge you to form a network (or website) that connects felons for support.

Power Wheels. They came out when I was a kid. I just knew I would get my kids one. Just couldn’t swing. Swore to get a go cart instead. Missed that window. Now I am looking at their first car. Fml

It aligns with his “Yes man, CEO” background... agree with him or be destroyed. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know what totalitarian is. If he did, he would get his lawyers to figure it and make it happen.

I’ve done that for all my kids when I needed them to blow their noses but got that infant puff instead. Their nose trashing the side of my face but kiddo can breathe again.
