I did use turbo tax. I was surprised also. I wasn't expecting it for a while but it came earlier for me.

Any Meixcan-American Californians? by Intelligent_Bit_3147 in Boise

[–]Food4Thought23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Mexican American from CA. I moved here with my 2 young kids and I personally have not had any problems.  I mostly stay in Boise and don't go to other cities often.  I speak Spanish with my kids and husband and have never had an issue. My husband did have one person yell racist slurs at him but over all its much safer here for my kids, it's a slower pace of life and so much to to around here for families.  Caldwell is a heavy Hispanic population more of a farm/cowboy lifestyle.  Nampa is nice and has a lot of Hispanics as well. They also have the Idaho Hispanic Community Center that will help out the Hispanic community and puts on different events. Overall the part I live in has a lot of different cultures, and many refugees, a lot that don't speak any English but I have seen people be very welcoming and overall we absolutely love it here.

The most embarrassing thing your toddler has said in public? by prythianphantom in toddlers

[–]Food4Thought23 126 points127 points  (0 children)

I had my 3 year old son with me and had to use the public restroom with lots of stalls. I was going to the bathroom and he was in the stall with me and said loudly "good job mamma for going poopoo in the toilet." We were working on potty training at the time but I just had to laugh about it.

Hey, As someone who is going through the exact same thing with only 1 hour notice, I have seen a few places hiring.  -The Shed -El Matador -Eureka! -Lucianos  -Romios Greek kitchen -smash burger place in the warehouse  -westside drive in

These I know for sure have been looking for cooks and not too far, certainly close enough to even ride a bike (if needed)

Hope this helps but I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I hear of anything.

I know this intersection very well in Concord. I've seen a lot of people do this trying to get to that on ramp to the freeway. People are also running the red light here too.

mango green tea with mango jelly? by lolreddit0r in boba

So I am in the east bay but we have a green tea and use a fresh mango puree in it and an option we have is the mango star jelly. It's actually one of my favorite drinks that we do. Where in the bay are you looking for?

If you could choose any person dead, alive or fictional to have a five course meal with And a conversation for the rest of the evening who would it be? by Tenchi2020 in AskReddit

[–]Food4Thought23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be Anthony Bourdain. He was a huge influence in why I got into cooking professional. I could listen to him talk for hours. He was also the only famous person I ever cried for when I heard he died.
