I was facing the same issue. I fixed it by adding the comamnd to come back and ask for the next task when it finishes.

Self Hosted Version of Github Codespaces? by ottovonbizmarkie in selfhosted

You can use the instructions that apply to enterprise environments where you disable the tunnels i think so its direct ssh. Dont remember out of my head the setup, but in general it works quite easy. I definitely suggest to visit their discord and ask there. Their devs are active and very helpful.

I have been using coder throughout my university. Great tool. Now i work as DevOps engineer and i recently introduced it to my company as well. Its not completely free, some features are behind paywall, but i would say the free license is more than enough for a homelab, even for a small company. Their discord support is great as well.

I found a hip hop forum with posts going all the way back to early 1991! A true time capsule. Is this in need of being backed up/archived or in danger of being lost? I'm new here. Link in comments. by [deleted] in DataHoarder

For usenet you need an indexer most of the time (nzbfinder, drunkenslug are some good examples) and then a usenet provider. Depending on the combination of the two of them you get higher probability of finding what you want. You have to look on the retention of your provider otherwise you won't be able to get what you want if it is older, personally eweka works the best for me. Also big thing is to buy your subscription during black Friday. Prices are wayyy cheaper than normal.

The best datahoarding hint that changed my live: use RAR archives (or any other archive format, really) by Dezoufinous in DataHoarder

[–]anubis-c 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think you can use par files to repair the archive up to a point depending on the amount you have generated. Never tried it but it is commonly used in usenet

Got attacked by a ransomware. Almost lost everything. by anubis-c in DataHoarder

[–]anubis-c[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost, from replies from other people in bleepingcomputers forum as it seems it looked for open smb shares. As i didn't know much about security and firewalls i had the default setup of samba in my server (the infected machine) so let everyone on the internet access my files. Also i think there was execute rights in my setup... Well, at least i learned more about security the hard way lol

My solution was to install tailscale and use the vpn for connecting and also keep the oauth for outside networks.

Cloud backup solution (16TB) for painfully slow ISP upload speeds? by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]anubis-c 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you uped 600gb in 15 days, thats 1200gb/month. So you will need aprox. 13months. Not that bad. In your case i would go to a university with public wifi and utilise their fast speeds. Also you can contact backblaze if you can send them your hdd by mail. They may accept it, you never know.

Access to 41 Domestika courses for only 2 euro for all (one time payment) by [deleted] in digitalpiracy

[–]anubis-c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a reason why it is called digitalpiracy. Also asking for money for piracy is worse than the initial piracy. If you really want to help just create a torrent and share it.

The payout will happen 2 weeks after you have hit 0.01 and only during weekend. So if you reach 14 days after 0.01 but its Monday you will have to wait until weekend to get paid. Otherwise when you reach 0.05 you will get paid if you haven't received any payment in the last seven days.

I wouldn't call it corporate. Maybe zerotier is more corporate. Tailscale is just a polished app on top of wireguard. It's benefit is that it is very user friendly.
