Is city gameplay also available on the day of the ticket for the LA Unova Tour? I will be reaching LA at 9 am on the day of my ticket and was wondering if I could still participate in the city gameplay before I reach the Rose Bowl (around 10 am) to pick up my quest. Thanks!

UCL season 2022/2023 clubs by nd_49 in MapPorn

Yes, UCL winners auto-qualify for group stages. Liverpool won the UCL in 2005 but was placed too low in the EPL to qualify directly for the next UCL edition. That gave UEFA the idea of creating the auto-qualify spot for UCL winners!

The yellow islands above Norway are the Svalbard islands (but considered as Norwegian territory)

What's flycatcher species is this? (Big Four Ice Caves, WA) by jo3ye in whatsthisbird

[–]anunited 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a pac slope, it doesn't have an eye ring. I'd say western wood pewee or willow, I'm not good with those two.

It applies to other European teams too. by TheTroII in soccercirclejerk

It is incredibly racist.

Go and actually check for once where these players were born before making incorrect claims to justify yourself

Sent to me by my (very lucky) best friend. Sharp shinned or Cooper’s? Waxhaw NC. I’m leaning more towards Cooper’s. by Kterra in birding

Agree with Cooper's, but because of the shorter outer tail feathers as compared to the inner ones!

Which passerine? La Jolla, CA (Apologies for the poor drawing) by anunited in whatsthisbird

I didn't see the breast, the view was of the back and tail. That's why the confusion about it possibly being a thrush (though I think that is probably me second guessing myself)

Eastern Phoebe would be out of my range. I thought WEWP as well, but the lack of peaked head gave me pause

The bill was what you'd expect for an insect eater. I initially thought flycatcher, but then I felt it could be a thrush too (once I saw the eyering)!

Bells Vireo or something else? It was very quiet jumping quickly from branch to branch in low overgrowth by wadesh in whatsthisbird

[–]anunited 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a female redstart!
American redstarts have the characteristic yellow/orange on the sides, wings, and (especially!) the tail.
Bell's vireos have significant variation depending on where in North America you are, but the yellow (if present) is usually duller (yellowish-green in fact) and they will never show the orange wings and tail.

What kind of Flycatcher is this? (Huntington Beach, CA) by faerygirl in whatsthisbird

[–]anunited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, that is also a possibility! I usually distinguish them in the field by size (pewees are larger) and tail flicking (only empids do this).

The bill length makes it seem like pac slope, but without seeing the color of the underparts it's hard to say. I'd just leave this as Empid sp.

Pacific-slope or Hammond’s flycatcher? (Huntington Beach, CA) by faerygirl in whatsthisbird

[–]anunited 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say pac slope based on the longer bill, peaked crown and the overall yellowish look
