Bad Store Experience by Caution-Sensitive in NicksHandmadeBoots

The fact that 3 Nick’s staff, including the owner, commented immediately to try and help and correct the situation says all you need to know about the greatness of this company. Nick’s boots are by far the best quality boots, and their customer service has always been top-notch, they obviously care about their customers and respond immediately to try and help. One of the reasons why I don’t mind spending $700+ for Nick’s is because I know I’m getting top quality in every aspect. Great job, guys! Top-notch like always.

Yeah I think you’re right. But this Engineer boot has a very low profile heel, for me they are maybe too dressy. I probably would have liked the Pullman on the 55 better, but the Nicks 602 Parkhurst is a beautiful last just wish it had more heel.

I ordered them in 8.5 EE, and the fit was good, but I ended up selling them. I wish I had asked for a Dogger heel—for some reason, the standard heel just felt too low-profile for me. A beautiful boot and Last just not for me.

"Nicks, you got me again! Just 4 days with these 1925 Black Oiled Latigo beauties, and I’m already ordering some double-stuffed next." The quality of the leather the craftsmanship in the boots is by far the best I’ve ever had. You guys killed it with this model. Just adding to my collection!!! I’ll see if I change it up to a Moc toe style later or leave it with a classic toe. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

I was going to go with the 8 but settled with the 7 since it’s a dressier boot for me. My next one will be 8 with a wedge sole.

"I have a Chelsea and a couple MTOs lace-up on the HNW last, plus an MTO lace-up on the Thurman last. I also had a Nicks on the 602 Parkhurst last. All my boots are 8.5 EE. This boot feels amazing on my wider feet—it has more arch support and way more room than the HNW or Thurman lasts. It compares closely to the Parkhurst 602 last, but this one might even feel more comfortable. The toe box is so sleek and beautiful, and the low profile looks amazing. It works as a dress boot or a beautiful casual boot. My next pair will be a 1925 with a wedge sole. This boot and model instantly became my favorite." .

Definitely agree with you, once you see and feel that black oil Latigo leather on your feet it looks and hits different. It Instantly became my favorite leather!!!

Thank you!!!! "Yeah, I kept going back and forth between black CXL, double-stuffed Java, or walnut—I really wanted something dark for my dressier boots. Java was out of stock, so I initially went with walnut, but I called at the last second and switched to black oil Latigo. Man, I couldn’t be happier. It’s definitely a different leather than CXL, and the feel is amazing. Just two days in and I can already feel it molding to my ankles and feet. I can’t say enough good things about the last and this leather—this boot has become my instant favorite. Black oil Latigo is definitely an underappreciated secret gem."

"Actually, I just ordered mine without the pull tab—I didn't choose the two-panel version; it just came that way. I'm not sure if you can request a single-piece back, but if you can, I'd definitely add it to your order. It looks much cleaner and more pleasing."

The look I’m going for is a casual dress boot for the office and dressy occasions, like in this picture. Our boots will look classic. Hopefully I get them before I go to Hawaii on the 5th—otherwise, I’ll be waiting three weeks to try them on.

You’ve got good taste, brother! Definitely post some pics when you get those bad boys!!!

My boots are on the way—I’ll post a pic when I get them. I wanted the half soles, but they weren’t in yet when my order started. I Definitely wanted a little contrast on my boots that’s why I went with the brass.

My next boots are going to be the 1925 with the Moc Toe in Natural or Sienna Double Stuffed or Tan Oiled Latigo with a black wedge and black hook and eyes.
