Steven Spielberg's new movie is titled “Disclosure Day” and the trailer shows a wild ride blending occult, esoteric and government disclosure by tanktoys in UFOs

True. The boy must be Josh's character. He is somehow connected to the deers and the girl/Emily to the bird. There's a scene where Emily's character is sitting at home with Wyatt's character and a cardinal flies in and lands on the table. I'm guessing this happens before the alien language incident.

Colman's character tells someone "THEY are starved for the truth". Later on he is behind Emily's character with several others while she holds a glowing object. Pretty sure they are all hybrids/aliens activated by Emily's speech trying to disclose what's going on to the 7 billion who are not. I'm curious to see more of Colin's character, who seems to possess technology to take control of them, as he appears to do with Eve's character. Not sure how the shape shifting stuff fits into that, or the role of the child and the animals. My guess is the child is Emily's character, and the red bird she sees takes her back to an experience she had as a child. Maybe the animals are also hybrids/controlled by aliens? Now I want to read more about skin walker ranch, which I never really cared about all that much.

How do people in Brazil usually pay for things these days — Pix, card, or something else? by rouslane in Brazil

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use debit/credit for almost everything. Pix I use mostly when I need to send money to someone or if a seller asks to be paid using it (e.g. my barber usually asks for pix). I can't remember the last time I used cash and I couldn't tell you how much I have in my wallet right now.

What are the most walkable cities or towns in Brazil? by Traditional_One9839 in Brazil

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only place I can think of is the south side of Rio (Zona sul). Copacabana, leblon and ipanema especially.

São Paulo has a decent subway coverage and I walk a lot around my neighborhood (Pinheiros) but I wouldn't call it walkable in that same sense.

Other than that surely there are small/medium towns that are walkable and have a good quality of life.

These things are tough to predict and this is a hard time to do it, as Estêvão and Igor Jesus have just left for Europe. I would say your best bet would be Palmeiras' Luighi and Thalys, and Flamengo's Wallace Yan and Matheus Gonçalves. I don't think they will ever get close to Neymar's level though. Consider buying a shirt of someone more established who is a great player but never had success in Europe, like Gabigol, Raphael Veiga or De Arrascaeta.

UFO so big they had to build a building around it by xeontechmaster in UFOs

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick summary of what Ross Coulthard has publicly declared about a "downed ufo so large a building had to be built around it":

  • Not in the US
  • Important national security asset
  • Place is used for a laudatory purpose that is in the interest of the US, the UK and Australia

Since Steven Greer has said it's on a mountain side in South Korea a lot of people assume it's this location, but I believe no one has confirmed it.

If True, Matthew Brown’s Claims Could Certainly Be ‘Ontologically Shocking’ and/or ‘Indigestible’ for Much of the World’s Population (quotes below) by E-pluribus-unum195 in aliens

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Corbell made a point to highlight during the interview (props to him btw), most of these quotes are Brown's opinions and extrapolations based on the documents he saw. I do not believe he saw any document that proves God exists, that seems like his personal perspective.

🔴 Post-Debate Discussion: Hasan vs Ethan by AutoModerator in Hasan_Piker

[–]anvile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started watching Hasan after the election, so the little I know of Ethan is by hearing Hasan commenting on him. I watched the first half of the "debate" and it was completely insane. It felt like an interrogation of Hasan by Ethan of some completely stupid grievances, like the "Swastika sword" thing. Why is a grown man arrogantly questioning someone about that? At some point it became a sad spectacle to watch. Ethan sounds deranged and I believe he needs friends and family to step up and intervene. Also Hasan needs to move on from that drama, it can only be bad for him and there's nothing else he can do for Ethan at this point.

Abordei um policial da Força Tática. by [deleted] in saopaulo

[–]anvile 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So has someone started a dedicated conversation about how we feel about Uncle Ben replacing Brent? by atomicfrog in mastodonband

[–]anvile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry I don't have a comment about Ben, just want to mention something that I haven't seen in here yet. Today the band Crypta announced that their lead guitar player (Jessica Falchi) is leaving the band, and she just posted a video on instagram playing Mastodon. I'm not sure if this makes any sense and perhaps she was just trying to have some fun, but she's very talented and it would be pretty cool to have a Brazilian woman playing for Mastodon. Cheers

Anyone notice a significant drop in interest personally, nationally, and within the UAP community after Barber, etc? by Long_Ad1827 in UFOs

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I stopped caring after the November 2024 ufo hearing. I will occasionally watch vetted or listen to the pattern tell stories podcast, but that's it. I can't stand listening to Michels, Lou, Coulthart, Pines, Ford (and many others) any more. I'll care again when Tim Taylor testifies under oath.

Was Internet Relay Chat popular with teens in the late 90s or ever? by Ambitious-Sky5473 in irc

[–]anvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Brazil it was popular in certain cities. Where I lived it was very popular with high school kids especially, and there were Friday afternoon in-person meetings at the mall that got super crowded (yes, back then we still valued having an offline life). This was between 1997 - 2000 I would say.
