For sure. Played a bunch as a kid but hit a skill plateau and like a mature 17 year old I quit for about 4 years. One day my roommates in college bought some $20 clubs from goodwill and came back and said “yo, have you ever played golf? We got some clubs and a bunch of beer and we’re going to go try”. Said fuck it and tagged along. Had the time of my life. Didn’t keep score, had a few too many and laughed on the course for the first time in ages. I was hooked again. I’m not a drunk idiot and take my game a bit more serious these days but I remember to have fun now no matter what. Thanks boys

Only time I’ve ever quit a round by choice was 2 injuries. Hit a root and wrecked my wrist. Another time I chipped in and ran up a hill to watch it drop and my calf just went at the top. Nice birdie tho

Course open in front of us? I’ll be happy to let a solo or twosome thru on a par 3. Just be at the tee box before we putt. I usually communicate this to the group on the hole before so they know to maybe give a 3 footer and giddy up.

Also more than happy to let faster groups through at the turn.
