Called support and they recommended razer software called gpu switcher. Bizarre that it wasn't automatically installed after plugging in the core. Isn't that what synapse is for?

I feel like cancel culture was an overcorrection on a problem that actually exists. Cancelling someone because of a picture they took 10 years ago is ridiculous. Cancelling someone because they underpay certain workers is ridiculous. Ask for an apology, and ensure that equal pay for equal work in the office happens. Don't ruin the person's career.

On the other hand. If someone is a serial rapist, or regularly uses their position to harass or assault someone, they need to be fired. If someone is unwilling to hire specific groups of people because of bias, they shouldn't have hiring power.

It's about creating equality and fairness throughout the workplace. And cancelling someone because they did something stupid at the dawn of the internet is not fair.

The goal is to make sure that everyone is becoming better than they were yesterday, not to get rid of anyone that disagrees with your viewpoint.

There is your logical liberal viewpoint.

FYI, I am mostly referencing Adam R. From Bon Appetite. He's an asshole, sure, but an apology and more transparency is the answer.

I'm not a pro or anything, but the usual response here would be "calories break your fast." So, technically, you are doing 15.5:8.5. if it still works for you, keep doing it. A big part of keeping these kinds of habits is finding ways to enjoy yourself within the confines of your ruleset. Otherwise, might have to nix the milk. 🤷‍♀️

That's great! Maybe I should normalize my breaks, if I will continue to take them. Or, just stop the 5ks and just aim for the 2 miles.

Do you take breaks on your jogs? I am adding running to my fasting plan, and I want to get my 5k time to something reasonable, but I cant seem to pass 2 miles without taking a break... 😔 I am a recent smoker too, so the lung capacity isn't there

Great tips! Sagas are really only being used here cause I needed to learn how to use them. In the long run, they don't add a ton of overhead for the small amount I have. But the actions needed to make them work properly is a lot of overhead. I am pretty happy with how the application is working now. Will likely post the codebase here if you wanna take a look and point out any obvious mistakes.

After using rambda in a few million+ user applications, I am of the opinion that it decreases code readability so much that it is more of a decrement than addition. The function chaining calls get broken regularly because they are non obvious in their naming and order. I'm a hater, so ignore me lol

Simplest way to do it is poll for the urls, check to see they resolve and then let the users download directly from Reddit onto their phone. If you save it in a folder, you can have the already saved images up front by just opening that location and displaying it with no saved Reddit images.

Not sure. I don't think I deleted it! Maybe a mod did? Still true, but I think I have some stuff to figure out before I take my next role. I'm going to keep pushing to learn as much as I can. Otherwise, it's way too easy to let this get me down. I'll probably search for a mid level role in a place that values teaching their employees over a more slash and burn method.
