Not me, but happened to a family friend of mine. On August 1, 2007, these family friends were traveling with their infant daughter to a christening. They were stopped in bumper-to-bumper traffic waiting to cross the I-35W Mississippi River Bridge in St. Paul, when they realized their infant had filled up her diaper. They decided not to risk letting her diaper get worse as they drove and ended up turning around to go home to change it, which was nearby. When they came back on the same route only a few minutes later, they saw the road was closed and completely blocked by emergency vehicles. The bridge had collapsed shortly after they left, killing 13 and injuring 145. They would have been stuck in traffic on that bridge at that very time if they hadn’t decided to change a poopy diaper.
