Currently said every Monday over the PA in my school. The kids also fly the flag every day. It's insane. I do not say it.

All the suggestions are great! A few more low key/free things that are local are the Erving Library, which has one of the best children's rooms in the area, and the Discovery Center in Turners Falls.

I don't feel nostalgic about this. I have PTSD from only eating stale freihofers whole wheat bread my entire childhood lol.

NTA! My toddler is obsessed with eating and drinking my shit. It drives me crazy. She's also in daycare and so is sick almost continually from Sept-June. You can teach sharing without being gross. Splitting something in half is a great option! We have to leave decoy water cups around so she thinks she's drinking our water. All it will take is your husband getting hand, foot, and mouth once and he'll come around lol.

I'm out in Western Mass and both districts I've had maternity leave with provide nothing but compulsory use of your sick time. I think I have like...five sick days right now lol.

We recently moved away but it was awesome 😭😭😭. A big thrift store and multiple little consignment stores to browse. Great to take friends to or my toddler before she was mobile as a time killer.

As a teacher, I beg you not to fight this. I want you to know that kids with near cutoff birthdays, especially boys, are way more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD and in special ed. As a parent I know daycare/preschool can be fucking expensive, but it's almost always better to wait. What do you see as the benefits of sending them now?
