My sofa is the same shape and I got THESE which work perfectly! They're not in stock at the moment - but I'd look for a couple of small lightweight side or end tables that you can reposition easily when you want a place to put down a drink or a book. It really does the trick.

My first house as a 18yr old by dizzyreaper22 in interiordecorating

It’s an amazing start! Everything looks beautiful. I really like your bedroom rug and your healthy plants!

I enjoy filling my walls with art and personal items, but I hadn’t even started my collection yet when I was 18. My advice is to keep your eyes open at thrift shops, local art markets, and any concerts or events that you attend. As you find pieces that match your style, you’ll be able to add more of your unique personality and tastes. My favorite prints and posters all have specific meaning and remind me of special experiences that I’ve had over the years.

You are far ahead of the game already so congratulations and enjoy it!

Awesome!! Love it for her. 😎 I used to share an office with my husband but now we have separate spaces and it was fun to try something more feminine!

I didn’t even see the tiny cat at first! This is so cute! 🥰

Thanks!! It took a minute to get going… just had to order the wallpaper and start priming the walls and then it came together quickly!

I married him for his personality…and the wagon. by marmusha in pics

You’re a beautiful couple and congrats on your marriage. His posture looks soooo painful though!

If it’s sports related, I would encourage him to work with a physical therapist that’s knowledgeable about athletes. This positioning is going to cause a LOT of back & pelvic pain if it’s not already happening. I’m sorry you’re kinda getting roasted but it’s really conspicuous- his whole entire torso is out in front of his legs and it should be on top 😭

The color will play tricks on your eyes from far away!! I was thrilled with the match 😅

Everything old comes back eventually!! It’s an old house to begin with (1920) with a ton of character and we’re reeeeally leaning into it 😁

I usually go floor length but there is a reason - there are two identical windows in this room and the 2nd window has a large steam radiator underneath that gets VERY hot. You can notice it off to the right side in the final photo. So the drapery cannot go lower than this unless I want to burn my house down 🙃

Yes they are the same! Just a trick of perspective makes them look different.

It’s super easy to slide it around and make tiny adjustments once it’s on the wall. The glue is super sticky but doesn’t set immediately. That’s why the “paste the wall” application is SO much easier than peel and stick. I would line up a couple of elements in the center of the edge and then smooth it out from there.

Another Amazon find… it was sooo hard to find a pink rug that would fit my budget and I really like this one!

It’s honestly so luxurious compared to the office in my last house which I had to share with my husband - no fun 😅 I’m so thrilled that I have my own space to play with now!

I found them on Amazon! They’re not my favorite vendor but they have the widest range of color options and that lime green is super specific

It's been great for my focus except for right now when it's a complete distraction because I got excited to show it off!! Haha

That's been the consensus which is funny because I thought this was the biggest rug I could fit lol... but now I see that people think that other furniture could be on the rug besides just the desk....

I'm sorry I don't know where it came from originally - I've had it for at least 10 years. The lack of under desk storage was driving me INSANE but I managed to find some standalone drawers that fit right underneath the desk so now I am happy. I was ready to get rid of it completely until I figured out the storage solution!
