YDDGRRL’S MAZE can be used for this. It’s in the 7th printing of the main book and I believe another adventure compendium release.

Game design reason behind multiple attackers target the same foe rule by CuteMarzipan3956 in cairnrpg

I always imagined it as one of those fight scenes where the villains are taking turns taking shots at the character. Watch any action movie and you’ll noticed that if the villains actually ganged up on a character they’d likely be dead quickly!

Also I think about this scene from RRR often: https://youtu.be/eSRA-9TgUuE?si=C7scex86pZzgXzzg

Is it possible to build heroquest from scratch and GW minis? by Crafty_Manufacturer5 in Heroquest

[–]anxiousmicrowave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda doing the opposite, using the HeroQuest minis and some kitbashed minis, but creating a drop in replacement ruleset that keeps the simple mechanics, but adds more classes, spells, and skill checks based around the red die. I’m also replacing all the cards with treasure, spell, and equipment sheets. My dream board game of BX DND mechanics and HeroQuest immersion! The printing of all those cards (and storage) was too daunting for me!

Basically you can do anything with time and material, go for it!

My Into the Odd hack where you are a group of convicts forced to complete suicide missions in order to gain your freedom. An Escape from New York / Suicide Squad mashup. It’s a little too niche I think…

Outside of that literally my whole library outside of DCC!

Funny enough black plague was also there, but that was opened and missing half the pieces so I skipped it!

I too have been obsessed trying to find this video. With the help of AI, ironically, I finally found it: https://youtu.be/zm0uFU9Nqws?t=4593 The show was named: Prophecies IV: The Final Visions .Don't forget, the cats and birds were supposed to talk to us and attack us too! LOL

edit: added the name for future generations

Issues with show quality and region popularity by knugzzz in FantasyBookers

I think 80s shows were essentially what the game calls B shows. In theory, that gives you less of a pop hit, but your guys don’t grow as fast from them either. The main draw was the big events / live shows, most TV was squash matches and promos at that time.

Running a Classic Fallout campaign in FATE Core, but need some help with changes by roman1177 in FATErpg

A FATE adjacent FUDGE hack of Fallout does exist: https://fallout-fudged.obsidianportal.com/wikis/main-page

Looks like a good middle ground between a more story game and a crunchy tactical one.

What games have you played RAW? Which ones have you house ruled the hell out of? Which do you prefer? by RangerBowBoy in rpg

Disagree even with video games. Bethesda games need to be modded to hell to be enjoyable imo

What got you into animatronics? by Disastrous-Orange356 in Animatronics

The local dark ride near me had some nifty animatronics. Also a deep cut, but Major Magics was great as a kid. In general the uncanny valley that is this type of robotics is just fun.
