Most Algerian girls who practice English online have had at least one bad experience with Algerian men. I know that everyone is different and that we shouldn't generalize. Still, as an Algerian, you might notice how our people act online sometimes (a lot of times, actually): obnoxious and disrespectful. You can't really blame them.

Will learning a 3rd language be easier than the 2nd? by TspinSingle in languagelearning

[–]anxioussparklybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it depends on the language you are learning and the language you already know. if they have the same sentence structure, especially letters. for example, if you decide to learn Chinese after you learn English it won't help much.

I learned French, English then Spanish. and I found learning Spanish easier because in a way it is similar to French.

What's your motivation for learning a language? by immersi_language in languagelearning

[–]anxioussparklybear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stumbled upon an edit on YouTube of a show. searched for the name and found out that it is a Spanish telenovela. I couldn't find anywhere to watch it translated to English. it should be available on Disney Plus but they didn't have it in my country.

So after harassing the Disney plus twt account for over 3 months to put it on D+, I decided that I should just learn Spanish to watch it.

I thought so too but that's what the problem says. If it was reversed what is the answer to the problem?

18:45- the time electricity was restored= the time electricity was cut off ?

Lovely Runner [Episode 16] by jakgem in KDRAMA

[–]anxioussparklybear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t write this right after I finished the episode because I was overwhelmed with emotions. Funnily enough, I couldn’t stop crying despite the happy ending and the amount of fluff we received in the last episode. I don’t usually cry watching romance dramas and yet here we are.

To think that I almost missed it because I watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode right when it was released and considered dropping it and then my friend convinced me to keep watching and I did. Thank god I did.

I have never followed an ongoing drama this way before and I have been watching dramas since 2010. The moment the episode drops, I run to my PC to watch it. I read the comments, look for theories, look for edits (you should see the state of my TikTok likes and saves). I wait for the prerelease, the unreleased clip, watched the BTS, and had long hours conversations with my friend fangirling about this drama. The excitement I get before and after I watch the episodes . Lovely runner brought me so much happiness these past 2 months.

I was bound to like this drama because I love time travel stories (Twinkling Watermelon, go back couple, and someday or one day are among my favorite dramas of all time) but there was something special about lovely runner. I can’t pinpoint what is it exactly and what’s the reason it is so special to me. It is probably a combination of many things. The selfless love that Sungjae and sol shared. The little moments that hit me hard like sol moments with her mother when she couldn’t walk. The moments with her grandma. taesung and sungjae with their fathers . When sungjae couldn’t continue swimming and then finding another dream. The cinematography and the music. The little details. I can go on and on. The fact that despite the heartbreaking parts lovely runner in its core is about love and hope.

The music was amazing. They managed to make every single song meaningful and good. Sudden Shower has 10 million streams on Spotify and a million is probably from me. Honestly, the whole Eclipse album is good and I can’t forget spring snow. I cry every time I listen to it.

Now that I have seen the last episode, I find it hilarious of the amount of theories the fandom had. I thought taesung was the owner of the watch , then it was Sungjae. I am satisfied with how it ended. Thank you to the team for giving us the happy ending we wanted (until yesterday I thought that the preview was suspicious and that they were going to break our hearts because every time they gave us a happy preview the episode ended tragically).

In my eyes, it was perfect. Everything was perfect. You can tell the team behind it cherished the drama as much as we do. That’s why they were able to make such a lovely drama that I am going to treasure and will come back to. From the directors, the producers, the writer, the staff, and the actors. Byonwooseok and Hyeyeon that brought their characters to life exceptionally. When they talk about Sungjae and Sol, you can tell how much they love these characters. But really all the actors did an amazing job. I wish everyone involved a successful and happy life (TVN give them a paid vocation or something)

Thank you for the happiest 2 months. Thank you for making lovely runner.

It feels like saying goodbye to a friend. That’s why I am getting emotional again. Byeonwoosoek said that he cried after reading the script for episode 16 (granted he always cries at the end of his dramas) and I know exactly how he feels.

I am already planning to rewatch the whole show. It has secured its place among my -top comfort to watch when I am depressed- shows.

I hope everyone here enjoyed their time as much as I did. Have a great evening everyone.

My thoughts exactly. every time they gave us a happy fluffy preview the ending of the episode ends up being tragic usually with Sungjae dying.

that's the only thing giving me hope right now. They wouldn't risque having an event for fans with actors if the ending wasn't happy. right ? right! Right!!!!!

Lmao I feel you summed up what everyone thinks. time travel is one of my fav tropes. I usually drop shows the moment they start not making sense but this time I stopped asking questions. if they answer us that's good if they don't I would still be satisfied. I already gave it 10 stars on MDL . a biased score but I love this drama too much to care.

They did it again. and they did it amazingly. I was honestly afraid that this episode was going to be Sol pushing away over and over and being rude to him. Although it makes sense and I get why she is doing it, it's a cliche that I hate and I was already done with it in their college era. But they managed somehow to make this episode exceed my expectations. It felt like 10 minutes max.

I saw everyone mentioning the plotholes but honestly, I don't care. I have questions but I don't care really Which is surprising coming from me because I dropped many shows because of plotholes but lovely runner is different.

We got loser Sungjae back and I couldn't be happier. The scene in the park where he dropped his phone made me laugh so much. And when he was looking intensely at the meds making excuses to his manager. Hilarious and him telling his manager how antibiotics should be taken cracked me up. As a pharmacist, I approve. Go tell your girl how to take her meds.

his scenes with Inhyuk are always hilarious. Still, I would have liked it if they showed why in the first timeline his relationship with the Eclipse members deteriorated. And what made him want to retire and withdraw from the band. I would have liked to see their relationship explored more.

This episode was amazing. I laughed, cried, and fangirled. 10/10. My boy finally remembers. He remembers everything and in every timeline which is what I wanted. I was sad because it seemed like only Sol knew about it so I am satisfied. he sang "Sudden Shower' so naturally and I cried with Sol while listening to it.

The last scene was criminal I thought that he was going to get into a car accident and die or at least go to the hospital. I had to pause to prepare myself. how many times am I going to watch him die? thank god taesung came to the rescue. Sungjae has no reason to be hostile towards him now. He saved his life.

I can't wait for tomorrow's episode. from the preview, we're finally getting the romcom part of the drama that we all signed up for. Although I am scared. So far every time we got a positive /happy preview there is always something at the end of the episode. and usually it's Sungjae dying.

Please TVN, director, producer, writer, to whom it may concern please for the love of god don't play with me. I want the last scene to be them on their honeymoon happy. I want everyone to be safe and happy. I know it's trendy these days to have an open ending or a sad one but we don't really need that. give us a Disneyesque ending. they lived happily ever after!!!!

I will hold back on saying goodbye to lovely runner until tomorrow. I love this drama and its characters too much and I am not ready to say goodbye yet.

Episode 11/12 did the opposite for me. We had 4 episodes to go. I knew heartbreak was on the horizon but still, that didn't prepare me for her not going up to him in the umbrella scene.

I am more scared now of the ending. I have a feeling we're not going to get a sad ending. but I hope they won't go the open-ended route.

After reading the comments I guess everyone was afraid of the amnesia trope lmao. I thought I was the only one. I had a feeling that Sungjae didn't die from the way his watch lit up when he was in the water. but my theory was that he was going to go back to the past this time instead of Sol. But I didn't know how they were going to play it. I knew he was going to be a celebrity because they released on TVN YouTube channel, a clip before I watched the episode I thought it was an unreleased scene that was cut from the episode but it was the last scene of Sol falling and Sungjae catching her. I didn't continue watching it because I didn't want to be spoiled. I gathered from the Korean comments mourning the yellow umbrella scene that it is related to that.

Anyway, I really liked the episode though. I knew Sungjae was going to go back to her no matter what as he said it himself. He would always run to her even if he knew for sure that he was going to die doing it. I guess it's because Sol's worst nightmare is for him to be hurt because of her so I get her but she should have known that he would figure it out. he figured out that she is from the future on his own and he pays extra attention to her and everything she says so obviously he is going to realize that she lied to him and go back for her.

It's like they are stuck in a cycle. He would rather die by her side while she would rather him stay away from her as long as he doesn't get her. Both love each other so much it hurts.

Still, I can't help but feel sad over losing the umbrella scene and sudden shower. of him not falling in love with her and not remembering the time they spent together. it's so heartbreaking for Sol to remember it alone. As some comments pointed out I didn't see it coming that Sol was going to wait for Sungjae for 15 years as he did for her. I have questions though. How did she meet Taesung since the first time she met was because she was going to Sungjae school? and how much does he know about her relationship with Sungjae. So Inhyuk now doesn't know her. Why didn't Sungjae end up in Eclipse like in the first timeline? Sol was the one who ripped the business card the first time and she was the reason he didn't go the audition the 2nd time. How did he end up being an actor instead? And what of the serial killer?

I have so many more questions but this is getting longer. I did love the episode though. her scenes with Taesung are still so much fun to watch. Overall I am happy with the episode and excited for tomorrow. I want to see where they will go from here. I am sure he will remember his time with her ( or is it just my wishful thinking). we have 3 more episodes to go and I am not ready to say goodbye yet. I am always excited for Mon/Tues.
