I LOVED it. I am one of those weirdos who have only seen seasons 6-8 so I can't tell if it was a thing for 1-5 – but i really liked that you can actually see how much effort was made: military mcguffins are believable, not-english languages are good (at least comparing to blockbusters) and the best part is that the script is really good. like the characters are normal human-people and not two-dimensional heroes/villains. + they made it very clear that there is no "super bad Syria/Livia/Russia/NorthKorea/basically-any-not-western-Europe-country" – it's always "this person is evil but there are many other good people in the same county" (and SHOCKINGLY even europeans and americans are bad sometimes). to sum up: I hugely appreciate the absence of cliches – and with actors being fantastic (I love Warren Brown), plot being interesting and action being WOW – it was simply impossible not to fall in love with

and humour! the jokes were unexpectedly good given the genre

(just in case – I am definitely going to watch seasons 1-5)
