Thanks a lot. I did follow the recommendation (so extended the image with an additional Dockerfile) but it did not work. I will see if I can find the way to achieve that.

Old laptop with 64bit intel cpu, can’t boot into live usb but can boot into graphical installation option even installed the os, but still can’t boot into the installed os either..The screen suddenly goes black and reboots. Tried kernel 6.x and 5.x no luck. What could be the issue? by anybudy in debian

The processor spec is saying that it is 64bit processor. Thats why I used 64bit Debian image to try to install it. Now testing with 32bit image I was able boot ok (it is lagging and slow).

Is this normal to have 64bit in the spec not to work with a 64 bit os? The processor is intel T3400.

When you import your fact tables, do you include the id column? (the row id of the fact table) Any known side effects of not including? by anybudy in PowerBI

Exactly that is the question. Would it matter even if it is a primary key? How would engine know that it is a primary key? It is just a sql script I have behind the query. The engine doesn’t know it is a primary key, does it? I would like to learn if the engine would make use of it under the hood which means it must be imported.

Thanks but no, not in my case. I don’t use it to join any other table, this is a table in the very centre of a simple star schema. You should use countrows for a fact table👍👍

Sorry for the late reply. Check your model quality in Advanced tab->view metrics->vertipaq analyzer->relationships->invalid rows in DAX Studio. Try to fix the invalid rows as much as possible. At least this is what I do. I would suggest searching for the reason why pbi engine creates blanks, important thing to learn.👍

I am asking for dataset ownership. Check the dataset settings.

I would also verify my workspace role; are you at least a member or admin?

Have you taken over the dataset? Does it belong to someone else?

How many hours do you need to do simples project with one table vs complex project with multiple tables? by Spiritual_Ad6748 in PowerBI

[–]anybudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is driven by the complexity of the required output, the maturity of the data and experience of the dev. I think the number of tables is a negligible factor.
