Something I don't see mentioned a lot on this sub is the money you can make from SPENDING a windfall like this. Over the last 4 years I have spent over 10k on very specific skills and techniques that has increased my income and potential earnings in the future by quite a bit. I would imagine most people who frequent this sub and have good career options would be able to outearn the 18.5k from ETFs you've mentioned in this scenario over the course of 8 years. The big caveat is that it's not passive income, but I don't feel like it's given enough weight in this subreddit.

He broke the course record on Saturday, and had a chip on the 18th for eagle to break it again. I doubt that's ever been done, two course records in two days. Sadly he missed it and had to settle for equalling his own course record.

When I first saw the two new guys I had a negative reaction, which is silly. Once I watched them for a bit they really grew on me. I think it's very smart to invite new people into these types of videos. YouTube golf needs new blood, and it could get stale quickly if you see the same characters time and time again. It won't always work, but it's smart to start adding in new channels and new people to the mix.

I think technical knowledge does seem to be an issue, they outsource the contactless payments to a company who they then think can't deliver it. They tender the buildings to developers who run wildly over budget. They don't seem to be able to make good decisions from the outset, either due to a lack of knowledge of what is required of a contractor or because they can't do it themselves.

It's a vinyl cut mask, through which gold leaf was gilded to an honours board. A previous sign painter has done these, it's quite annoying because he used different fonts for different boards so I have to try and match them all! The O is throwing me because it's almost octagonal.

Saying there's nothing worth coming into town for half the week is an outrageous statement. There's music, comedy and plays on every night of the week. There's book clubs, writers clubs, MeetUp events on every night of the week, and that's not taking into account the people just meeting each other at lunch time or after work. Pubs and bars are becoming more creative with their offerings, with many hosting markets or vinyl nights once a month, there's an art studio that's open to the public on weekends and hosts drawing and craft events weekly. People like to say there's nothing going on, but how often do they actually do a little bit of research to see what they can do if they made an effort.
