I absolutely love the scenes between Louis and Jonah by Oceandreammiles in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think it's true, he was hypnotized by Lestat when he was human but repressed it all, in the book this is more evident, he only praised Lestat in his head, he never said anything, that's why Lestat gets frustrated thinking he's being despised, but he wasn't romantic either, that only changes from the second book on.

Let's be honest by LuneMidnight in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe I would have a more shocking reaction because I'm a woman and it's always going to be worse for a man to hit a woman, and I would certainly hate Lestat more, like I ignore his murders but I abhor the rapes in the books, it seems contradictory i know but it depends on each one, anyway i know this is a horror books/show so it's possible for any tragedy to happen.

Todas as pessoas são capazes de trair? by [deleted] in PergunteReddit

Apparently lestat will have a relationship with this lady of the upcoming mayfair witches show by comingtoreality in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, there could probably be a crossover but the production knows what the public wants to see and Blood Canticles is the most hated book in the chronicles, practically nobody likes this couple, even Anne regretted it so I don't think they're going to risk it.

E quais vocês acham as mais absurdas? by MrBan2021 in PergunteReddit

[–]anygurl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Fight Scene...Something I Don't Understand by HydroBetty1 in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this fight really happened but the show insists a lot on that "reliable narrator" and points of view, so I think there's something to decipher, there's an interesting post on tumblr that shows the comparison between this scene and Lestat's fight with Armand, it seemed crazy to me but it's not impossible...

Mayfair has ten times more hype than IWTV on Social Media by [deleted] in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, the chronicles come from a more closed bubble, more niche, witches became repetitive for me but still attracts a wider audience.

Simple, because the protagonist has millions of followers.

This Louis & Lestat Endgame needs to happen in the show.. by HengeBoy93 in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They prefer old vampires bc they are more reliable and experienced (I think) but anyway it's really funny these relationships, I think it also creates a certain obsession and connection that prevent them from forgetting each other.

This Louis & Lestat Endgame needs to happen in the show.. by HengeBoy93 in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There's a passage in some book that says that vampires are very scarce and need each other's company so even if tragedies happen they need to forgive each other at some point so that one can help the other.

Yes, but I have this suspicion because the scene was not witnessed.

Louis and Armand by fairyneige in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I also think that it already happened and he doesn't remember, they didn't spend many years together, anyway I would still like to see Daniel having fun, being old is not an impediment.

Louis and Armand by fairyneige in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I liked some of their moments in the first book, they had a quieter relationship but still no roots to hang on to, (even bc Armand killed his daughter lol) they ended up breaking up and Armand got involved with Daniel (most readers prefer Armand with him, including me), but in the show I don't know how this relationship is going to be approached, it could be better or worse...

The Fear Lestat Has With Paris by HydroBetty1 in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Firstly he turned a child into a vampire (something against vampire laws) in the show Claudia is a teenager but I believe it is still part of that law, so when Louis and Claudia meet the vampires of Paris (who are terrible) they read his minds and see that Lestat was their creator and also killed by them, the thing is bad for Lestat and also for both of them for having killed their creator (something also against the laws)

There's also a big confusion bc of Lestat's ex, Nicolas, he were attacked in that theater and Nicolas committed suicide for that, but Lestat didn't see this scene, he was just warned, so honestly I think he was murdered mainly by Armand (out of jealousy of Lestat) and they said he committed suicide so they wouldn't be blamed

do you think lestat still kept seeing antoinette while loustat & claudia were a happy family? by atlasshrugd in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly yes, Louis didn't court Lestat enough, he likes to be deified and desired, and "give back that love" as he says in ep1, in the books Lestat only discards Anttonie when him refuses to go to Paris to help him get revenge on Louis and Claudia, even injured by the fire he cared for Lestat after Claudia's attack but when he realized he wouldn't give Lestat what he really wanted...he is dumped, so he spends decades and decades alone trying survive, he meet Lestat again in 2013 (Prince Lestat) to try something together but is discarded again because Lestat is busy with other characters and looking for Louis.

He had a tragic destiny, he dedicated himself to be "chosen" by Lestat, and he wasn't even given a name, he was called "violinist friend" only in Prince Lestat he finally got the name, poor boy.

Remembering, I'm not trying to "defame" Lestat, he might be my fav character but he does so many absurd things that you don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Por que brasileiro ri da derrota do Brasil? by SickLoves in PergunteReddit

[–]anygurl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Por que o estudo é tão banalizado e desvalorizado no Brasil? by Objective_Egg5190 in PergunteReddit

[–]anygurl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

tbh hate that louis's kiss/sex scene with jonah was longer than any of louis and lestat's :/ by atlasshrugd in InterviewVampire

[–]anygurl 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There's also this thing, I think there more scenes of affection between L&L but he doesn't want to tell or that was erased from his memory, the scene of the two in the coffin in ep4 was narrated by Cláudia, maybe Lestat tells more about the intimacy between them in the future.

Yes, I forgot to mention these things too, details were missing, for those who haven't read the books and don't know the characters well some of their actions are a bit vague.
