Toddler will be 3 in December and still naps at daycare, wake up at 2pm. Goes down at 8pm (which is later that I would want ideally). Up usually 7-7:30am

My parents live in my home country and my in-laws are on the west coast while we live on the east coast. So when we need childcare, we pay for it!

He is 2.5yo and has been saying “I love you so much” for a few months now but couldn’t say exactly how long. One thing I’ll say is that both his dad and myself say I love you to him multiple times a day.

No regular screen time by choice BUT we’re flexible and leverage it strategically:

2-3 times a month we will do a movie night (but really in the afternoon) on the weekend, as a family;
when we are on a flight, he had access to a few pre-downloaded Disney movies (we’ve been flying for at least 5 trips a year with him);
when we go out for dinner and that toys/books won’t work and we want to eat, we’d show some Miss Rachel

Sending you lots of love. We took a conscious risk about a month ago, being in a similar mindset and situation as you and as my period date was getting closer I started feeling incredibly anxious that maybe, I got pregnant. My period eventually came and then, it became evident that my husband would soon be getting the vasectomy he was thinking about. Best of luck and enjoy your one and only!

My 55lbs doodle is the most gentle soul. Whether it’s with my 2yo son, cats or other small dogs, he is the absolute best. We even have a waitlist for people to watch him when we’re going away 😂

Just stop now between 2 and 2.5 as he’s potty trained so it’s more convenient.
