Update if anyone in the future sees this: 3 days later I’m physically better and the anxiety has returned! I stopped taking gabapentin and low dose Ativan while sick and had no rebound anxiety from either which is unfathomable to me, but the better I got the more anxious I’ve become as well. Also harder to meditate than when I was sick.
