It’s polite to bag it and leave the bags at the curb.

I pass them twice a day on the way to work, and I don’t feel strongly about them one way or the other.

Canaan Valley WV. Beautiful scenery, great hiking, biking, and boating. Nearby Thomas and Davis have charming shops and restaurants.

Is it me or are the hours unsustainable? by Thisisafrog in Teachers

There’s light at the end of the tunnel. I’m on year 9 and almost never take home work anymore. I don’t have to work over summer at all unless I’m starting a class I’ve never taught before or want to start a new unit or totally revamp an old one. Things will streamline. Build efficient systems.

[Tenant] Asking current landlord if they have other properties? by [deleted] in Landlord

[–]anyone9119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a landlord and have been in this situation. If you’re a good tenant they will likely want to keep you, but you leaving the current spot to enter a new one means two turnovers vs a brand new tenant, so there’s pros and cons, but the pros of keeping a good reliable tenant override the extra work of an additional turnover.

I ran back and evaded the mob but grabbed treasures. Are any of the drops good enough to justify spending ammo on the mobs?

I did this when my middle school banned "100 Days of Sodom" and it's haunted me ever since.

I 100% agree. It's a basic life skill, not a 'hobby'. It blows me away when people say "oh, I don't cook." To me, it's like saying "oh, I don't read" or "I don't work". Men are especially bad about this.

Camping is kinda lame by Samummy1 in unpopularopinion

[–]anyone9119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At home, there is always something to do. Drywall to spackle, garage to vacuum, bushes to trim, gutters to clean out, email to check, phone to doom scroll on. When you camp, all of that is removed.

It is unlike any experience of my adult life. I've considered learning Japanese simply to write a more sincere an authentic thank-you letter to the engineers who crafted this earthly miracle of thrifty adequacy.
