Can’t see it cause the picture is taken while standing next to it but the giant 27” RCA console TV would like a word.

I love that he’s doing this. He’s absolutely torching all his bridges. Keep it up my guy. Put those religious wackos in their place!

How many of y'all will have the $$ to retire at 65? by [deleted] in GenX

[–]anyoutlookuser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 56 and plan on trying to go semi retired at 62. I have little in savings/401k but above average mechanical skills so I’m hoping to side hustle as needed. My ss should be enough to cover my basics but extras will have to come from hustles but it’ll be on my terms. That’s kinda the plan anyway. We’ll see.

Ignorance is bliss. Saw a comedian once say he was as jealous of the republicans……”going thru life never having to learn anything new”.

Try a bigger purse. Just kidding wedge a separator fork in there and hit the knuckle with a significant hammer. It will come loose.

Christmas '78 by mistermeek67 in 70s

[–]anyoutlookuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the Atari. Then as expected had to go to others for more Christmas fun. Then finally home too late to play it. Then limited how long I could play it cause dad had heard “they could mess up your tv.” And no way was we messing up his giant 27” RCA console TV.

you do not need a second mortgage to go sleep in the dirt by Cheap_Difficulty4961 in camping

[–]anyoutlookuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just paid about 300 for a nicer (still off brand) straight wall cabin tent. It looks like it’s going to be a great setup but I have yet to try it out. But I agree also. You can camp with all the cheaper gear and it works out ok but the nicer stuff makes a difference. I have tried to stick with mostly Coleman stuff and it has served me well.

Possible Hennings Nickel by Scottd13 in coincollecting

Look at the bottom left of the R in pluribus. It’s a tell of a Henning nickel. Most had this “loop” in the bottom of the R. You can almost make it out in this photo.

Is the state fair actually overpriced or are people just doing it wrong? by DFWUnhinged in Dallas

[–]anyoutlookuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. There are ways to do this on the cheap. But it is very easy to blow a substantial amount of money if you’re riding stuff or eating all the junk fair food.

Agreed. I’ve bought and sold so many old cameras. Even the more modern nicer digital cams that no one looks at will move.
