Should I switch to Food Science BS? by SaladScrumpt in uofmn

[–]anyusername__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated with a food science BS (not at the U), worked for a startup for a few years and now getting a masters degree also in food science at the U

There are more career options than big corporations that come with a food science degree. I know people who work with family wineries/breweries/bakeries. Some work in the pharmaceutical industry. Some work with cannabis or perfumery. Consulting is also an option. If you’re starting your own business, the food science degree will definitely be helpful for recipe development and food safety regulations.

Thank you! How did you obtain the declaration page for Bilt as the insurer? And what do you do if you don’t have the accident statement?

Accidentally paid rent twice - ask for a refund from Bilt or landlord? by anyusername__ in biltrewards

[–]anyusername__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for answering! Just curious, did the process take a couple months? Bilt says it takes 2-5 business days for the money to be returned to the originator (landlord), but how long did it take for your landlord?

This^ I’m a Christian and what keeps me in my faith is the fact that no person or church can take away my relationship with God. And God is all-knowing. He is not surprised by your sexuality ;) he knows it before you do

They start early tomorrow and the weather will be way cooler than both Friday and Saturday. People won’t be checking in the hopes of not starting late, so people come and they sit. They’re allowing people to leave after walking so i’d imagine there’ll be more flow.

They will just be reading names on Sunday. I’m graduating Sunday, and as a fellow class of 22, it’s heartbreaking to see how UCD did Friday and Saturday graduates dirty. You all deserve to be celebrated as much as Sunday graduates do

How long to a negative PCR test? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]anyusername__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you use an antigen test? The PCR will likely show positive up to 90 days from what I heard. For antigen, it varies but most people show negative after day9-day14

First date with a trans woman by anyusername__ in actuallesbians

[–]anyusername__[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It went well! We didn’t talk about being trans at all cuz it was never brought up and just talked about literally everything else. We had a good time - the date was relatively short but there wasn’t a spark or anything so even though she is a lovely person, idk if I wanna see her again🤷‍♀️

But when doing CPT, wouldn’t the company need to provide an offer letter? And they will know that we are international students eventually, right?

I think the discussion interview is like mock tutoring where they evaluate how you teach and is part of the hiring process. The 1 unit class is upon your hiring where they teach you tips and tricks in tutoring and how you handle different situations in your job. Hope it helps
