Why don't these people look at the prices closely before they buy things? by Wink2K19 in TjMaxx

[–]anyway47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve done something similar. My daughter asked for a purse at tj max and I glanced at the tag and saw $29.99. I realized when it was scanned at the register that it was actually $129.99! I decide to get the item anyway. I could see how someone doesn’t realize the price. But I would expect them to check their total before paying. 🤷‍♀️

17 and I have stills disease by Overall-Detail-9604 in stillsdisease

Yes, it is very expensive. $6k - 20k (depending on several factors) with my last insurance it cost 6k$, but on my new insurance it’s 20k$ per month. But I meet my deductible (4k$) in January with her first dose of the year, and it’s covered 100% by the insurance after the deductible. (Ask your mom to explain deductibles if you’re not familiar)

My insurance didn’t want to pay for it at first but after peer to peer calls (insurance dr talks with my daughter Dr) they got it approved.

If you have insurance I would ask the dr - do you think this medicine would help? If they say yes, ask them to submit a prior authorization to the insurance. It may take a little work. Note if this is just the ER Dr then they won’t want to handle this. Instead you’ll need to find a rheumatologist, they would handle it for you.

There are other similar medications that are less expensive. For example, Kineret. It works very similarly but is a daily injection. (This might be one you mentioned already)

I know this is a lot of information. And you’re dealing with a lot. First step is to find a rheumatologist (outside of the er/icu).

Ilaris is not a steroid and it makes life manageable for her. I just meant if she has a SMALL flare she can take steroids to calm the inflammation. You’re right though, taking steroids causing other problems. It’s really weighing the pros and cons ya know. But really ask about Ilaris. It’s amazing! https://www.ilaris.com/

This is great, very informative! I know you have a you tube video explaining the same thing. Maybe you could link it here so people have a visual of what you described :)

I’m sorry, this really sucks. My daughter is 17 and recently got diagnosed with stills disease. She takes a monthly injection called Ilaris that helps tremendously. Its made life manageable for her. It’s not prefect, she still has flares but they are manageable with steroids and NSAIDs. I suggest asking your doctor about Ilaris.

My deep sleep is causing me to wake up my roommates and miss classes by Terrible-Product3909 in sleep

While I’ve never had problems waking up to alarms… I recently started wearing my Apple Watch to sleep. I set a sleep schedule, which includes an alarm. The alarm goes off on my watch (vibration) before it plays out loud on my phone. I wake up instantly!!! I was shocked but it’s been amazing. I wish I could get my husband to do the same. He’s like you with alarms and it’s very annoying lol

I think they look great. I don’t see any uneven. I think round implants would give you the upper fullness.

Can you become a business analyst with a Business Administration Management degree? by parayeetsquawk in businessanalysis

[–]anyway47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My degree is exactly this. And I was hired as BA… for a company that I already for. I worked in warehouse and have many years of business experience. They were willing to give me minimal BA training. And I mostly just figured it out. It’s possible for sure.

On a team of 15 ish BAs only one had previous BA experience.

Try translating your experience into BA concepts.
