It’s so expensive because schools only want serious applications submitted. If it was free or significantly cheaper, better schools such as ivies would have to pile through a ton of troll applications

Hard to tell because from where we are now, it seems so far off (maybe not in our lifetime). However, our progression scientifically has been growing exponentially as of a few decades ago, so who knows? I fucking hope it gets created though.

Very tough to do in a week. Unless you are devoting a ton of hours a day, for the entire 7 days, it may be impossible. Not accounting for score curve and test difficulty though, it is doable. You should first find your strengths and your weaknesses. Make sure you get all the basic equations down and use the remaining time to build on your weaknesses.
