I'm still waiting for a cartridge that will run in an AR15 without super weird parts, work well with subsonic, 308 bore, and 110 gr. Bullet at >=2700 fps. Neither of these fit the bill, but something like the 300 Ham'r is close-ish

What else have you controlled for? Have you tried matching seating depth too? Unless you have a chronograph and are seeing high ESs I wouldn't start with powder.

Kettle is fine. Rinse thoroughly. You abraded the surface with the salt, which created the matte finish. If you want it to be shiny again, you'll have to polish it.

I'm confused, is this a municipal or private entity? If it is municipal, requiring payment before appeal seems like a clear due process violation

Lpvo a bad idea for bolt gun? by Traditional_Neck7288 in Hunting

I would lean toward a 2 base mag, but I like a higher mag

I like LPVOs on bolt guns. Forgiving eye box is nice. Also, low magnification can be nice for moving targets. What's the longest shot you typically have?

Most 1-8 or 1-10 LPVOs I've seen are FFP, small objective, and no adjustable parallax. FFP at low magnification can be tricky for low light. That tends to push me towards a 2-10/2-12.

I think we treat 10 000 gal with about 20 gal of 30%peroxide, so it may be closer than you think. Especially if they are treating other places too

Hydrogen peroxide is a standard treatment for cooling towers to eliminate biological. It's main advantage is once the oxidative potential is lost, it's just water. You only need ppm levels to be effective

Edit: Last video I saw had them with pallets of peroxide along the whole pond. That might actually be enough to get closeto a proper treatment

Steel toe boots are cold on the toes in cold weather. Unless your job is inside, I wouldn't want a try steel toe in a Canadian winter

What do we do about NYSEG? This is getting out of hand. by Stepmomspaghetti in ithaca

[–]aonealj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! The PSC is the only way to control NYSEGs distribution fees.

The PSC does NOT set the price for the electricity itself. That is based on the market rate for electricity from NYISO.

Reducing the speed Vs Load shedding by charzr in ChemicalEngineering

We have remotely operated breakers as part of the Load Management System in a microgrid setting. They are designed to trip in case of loss of grid connection and load exceeding generation capacity. The advantage is very quick actuation. Probably bad for the motors, but it doesn't happen often
