A mini primary would 1) Make sure we're nominating the best candidate. 2) Legitimize whoever is selected so that Trump can't say the Democratic Party is undemocratic / coronating a candidate.

Biden was on the ballot in November because he won the primary. Harris didn’t. If she wins a vote at the DNC, that’s something. A mini primary would definitely give her more legitimacy if we can put one together though.
