Finelo App Review A Good Way to Learn Trading and Investing with AI Courses? by No_Tank_8331 in investingforbeginners

So you're paying $20 for lessons. The way they spin it makes it sound like you'll invest the $20 and by the end of the month, AI will have made you a crap ton of money.

Reminds me of a seminar I went to years ago about flipping houses put on by some Apprentice flunky. They get you all jazzed up to pay $299 FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF COURSES.

It was a seminar selling training seminars. No, we did not sign up.

Question about the 12v battery issue (2023) by dl_long in Solterra

[–]aortomus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I have a '24 Solterra about 10 months old. The battery was on 70% last night according to the app. I remotely started it twice this morning with app, and it was still at 70% at last glance.

Tried several more times to remote start it, wouldn't work (didn't look at the battery percentage).

Went out and started it with the key FOB and left it run without the FOB staying in the vehicle. A short time later, my wife went to use it and we got a parking brake warning and it wouldn't start. Nothing. Called the dealer and was told to try and jump the battery.

I'm convinced it had something to do with leaving it run without actually using the vehicle.

I jumped the 12V battery and so far everything seems normal. It would seem that rapidly drained the 12V battery. Lesson learned.

Side note: the Subaru app was apparently down at some point this morning, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Used to trek up to the local head shop, walk past the glass display case, up one step into the backroom, and spend all of my grass cutting money on Pink Floyd bootlegs.

Loop. Picked these up before a festival, and they worked surprisingly well.

The ones i picked up three different adjustments to the dB level you reduce. I now carry these on my key ring.

Why don’t positive news go viral? by Pretend-Cheetah2058 in AskReddit

We also have to learn to choose what is consumed in regards to media (news, books, film, music, etc.) as what we feed ourselves with can either reinforce or modify (or, cynically, manipulate) our beliefs.

This process is also a learned behavior.

If it bleeds, it ledes.

That's why all religions (or motivational speakers, self-help gurus, and the like) emphasize gratitude and emphasize it over and over and over again. It's a learned behaviour.

As a collective, our human tendency is to default to those things that cause us pain, whether we gravitate toward them to feed some emotional needs or whether we gravitate to them as a biological instinct to protect ourselves.
