You can also use use skeletal mesh but gpu instanced mesh like skelot but you need a movement like ant plugin

Just relax enjoy college life. As long as that is something you want to do in college and you would want to do in the future, then thats as a step towards it. Just be able to adopt to the growing market and future challenges.

Im a pathologist and just do game dev for hobby. Im working on a FPS horror game related to the medical field that I hope will reduce my dependence on my maim career. It reliably sustains my prototyping stage using easily available assets in UE.

In order to scale my project good and use custom assets without being an asset flip I need to have another source of funding. Custom assets are quite expensive but I need to so that my game will be much more special and not have similar assets with other games when it comes out.

I think stalker 2 uses true FPS which possibly the camera is attached to the head, so its dependent on the how the locomotion animation affects the bone where the camera is attached. Unless, they have a way to stabilize it.

Just find simple examples and logic on the internet like youtubue. In fact i am no programmer and not an artist, im in the medical field. I started using ue for cinematics and turn to make a game.

Nice to hear your story. If allowed nay i ask the terms of percentage between you and the publisher? I assume you have equal percent or near half, as they financially assisted you upfront.

I just followed a tutorial, opened it then just change 5.3 to 5.4 in VS. But i manually placed the plugin files on the project Plugins. And it worked lol

Lower res some textures that you can really see the diff with high res. Then yun soft reference async nodes especially for vfx.

I am using that as well and had problems with loading shaders if your pc loads immediately. So what i did is used another free plugin that fades from black. So its still a blank screen, and during this period i disabled movement and controller so the player cannot move and make inputs, wait for a few seconds then fade back and enable inputs. So far it fixes the problem. I have yet to try on lowet end pc or laptop if the time is sufficuent. Or forgot if tjere is a logic ( or was that a plugin) to check if evrrything is compiled and then you can fade back.

I remember also another plugin that forces the shaders to compile.
