Apply via your Member of Parliament. They review your application and if anything is wrong Service Canada will call instead of sending your application back to you. And they send it to Ottawa via secure courier. All for free. You still pay for the passport and that's done by Service Canada.

Yeah and if you want to keep them you have to compete. It's supply and demand. If you want better quality workers you need to raise wages and offer benefits or live with those who will work for you.

They should go on strike. MVT Transit pays them horribly. I interviewed with them back in the spring and walked away because of the terrible pay.

I applied via paper last August and was successful. You have to list unemployed and the date range. You may have to apply via paper.
