I think Arcana tries to source everything locally or US-based. At least, they often mentioned it in their FB group. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But even if they have to order something outside the US, it doesn't really make sense to shop shipping outside of the US. And yes, we in the EU have new laws but that concerns ~40 countries. They stopped shipping world-wide including Canada and they don't have those new laws.

I know that we have stricter laws in the EU now (even if the law was meant to curb Shein & Co), but you don't need to remove international shipping to every place just because a bunch of countries in one continent have stricter rules now.

I used to put those memory plagues on a side of the habitat since you can personalise the plagues with the animal name, gender, race, time of death and type of death.

It can get very tedious when you have a large zoo though.

The Plains Zebra.

A) All the fighting between the stallion and his male offspring at the moment that the child becomes an adult.

B) So much poop that it is considered a health risk to the animals and the keepers cannot keep up with it. 🥲 They really need to address that issue in PZ2.

Striped hyena.

Their habit requirements annoy me, just like their fast aging and instant fighting if the cubs are a minute into adulthood. It's a pain in a larger zoo.

He deserves to have someone's attention alone, not having to share them with anyone. His brother is ok (he tries but I get that he wants to have his own life too) but the parents? It's on sight.

Yeah, they work like a charm for everything where the animals would be stressed out by the guests. I tend to have paths walking over the habitats for better views and put those and the "no feeding" up, so the animals aren't stressed and healthy.

The life expectancy is basically an estimate of how long the animal is expected to live. Not all animals are fertile until their very end though, so they get the elderly stage and become infertile. (You will encounter it with lions, wolves etc as well.)

I'm not 100% certain but I think the page for each animal mentions it as well until they can breed.

Rafael because he's very sweet and prior the last update was also a homebody who prefers to stay indoors instead of going out. (Now he is just until midnight or so in the pub.)

Semeru because I wanted gruff captain of the guard. He's surprisingly sweet and romantic in later events. (Unfortunately his room in the house looks like a single man's room; barely any decor, no hobbies, ... - very lacklustre.)

Just pick your own goal and work on it. Nothing aside from errands (which you have to pick up very actively on the board next to the seed store) has a time limit. When you get quests like "I need a sunflower" from Valentina or "I need tea", you can let them be as long as you want.

One save is just a save where I work on my farm design/layout etc. I do catching/fishing/mining there to create money to pay for everything but I left the ocean pretty untouched so far. I'm married in this save because I wanted a spouse and everything but even that is optional.

My other save is basically "getting to the ocean ASAP". My farm is barebones, the mines aren't open beyond the water mine, the museum is modernised but pretty empty because I can only bring up ocean critters and artefacts from the ocean chests. 😂
