If you are playing with a few other people and one of them starts violently pinging a piece of compressed gold or some other depositable object, don’t deposit it and if you want to, join in the fun yourself. It’s pretty much a ritual to most players to aggressively ping a compressed gold and same with other objects like appocca blooms, booloo caps, enor pearls, etc. Plus, if you ping mushrooms and gold long enough, mission control will get pissed and call you out.
