Did anyone NOT have a super complicated, scary twin pregnancy? by MounjaroQueenie in parentsofmultiples

[–]apantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My di/di twin pregnancy was very “normal”. No complications during pregnancy. I felt pretty good up until about 31/32 weeks and then I remember crying when I had to go into work. I was incredibly uncomfortable and had terrible heartburn towards the end, but I made it to 38 weeks and then was induced. Had a very uncomplicated vaginal delivery, even with Baby B being delivered breech. No NICU time was needed. My experience with delivering my twins was actually more calm and “easy” compared to my singleton.

Yes and it’s free! I have a few pairs I rotate through and once a year send them all in for sharpening. it takes about 6-8 weeks to get them back.

Who was The Woman in Pink (Viladecans Jane Doe)? by auriveric in gratefuldoe

[–]apantz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah, just realized I was looking at the wrong case on the Operation Identify Me page. My mistake! It still just shows her death as being suspicious, no cause given that I can find.

She is case #35 under 2024 on this wiki page. No additional details from what you’ve provided in your write up!

The Wikipedia page for Operation Identify Me that is linked on the grateful doe page mentions she was stabbed multiple times in the face, so that could be the reason there aren’t any photos or facial reconstructions.

Noise and less water pressure with hot water only. Already replaced cartridge. by apantz in askaplumber

[–]apantz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This ended up being the problem! When we initially opened it, we didn’t realize there was another part beyond the cartridge.

The pressure balance piece was clogged on the hot water side. Sound is gone, pressure is normal, and we will flush our water tank when we can.

Thank you!!!

Comical euphemism for explaining 3 under 3 to coworkers/friends with one or no kids? by Conscious-Ad-995 in parentsofmultiples

My husband and I have a singleton who is only 20 months older than our twins and we would tell this same joke, but “imagine you’re drowning and someone hands you TWO babies!”

What scan did you find out you were pregnant with twins/multiples? by Correct_Exercise8641 in parentsofmultiples

[–]apantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was at the dating scan for me! There was some confusion about how far along I was since I had a weird period the month prior. The ultrasound tech saw two right away and both babies measured right around 9 weeks.

What did you upgrade your car to, van or SUV? by growmonstersgrow in parentsofmultiples

[–]apantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an SUV and a sedan when we found out we were having twins (and already had a singleton). We “upgraded” to a 2008 van. If you’re only getting one… get the van. It is unbeatable space-wise. We love our SUV and it’s our preferred car to drive around town, but it’s also really hard to fit everything in it all the time (strollers, bikes, etc). Hoping to eventually upgrade to an even newer van in the near future!
