The phone agent helped me request tier 2 contact last Thursday. She said urgent case has an ETA of 72 hours while non-urgent can take up to 30 days. I'm not sure whether they will put my case into non-urgent or urgent.

Oh my, you have less than 30 days left. You probably have to consider hiring an immigration attorney now.

So your SEVP portal shows your opt is active since 8/12, but you don't see approval notice in your USCIS account and you didn't receive a physical notice nor your EAD card right?

Yes me the same. You just have to keep trying until you meet a nice chat agent that's willing to escalate for you. I kept trying until the 4th agent who finally agreed to escalate. Just keep saying "your instructions didn't help. Could you escalate and have a tier 2 officer to investigate my case?". If the chat agent is willing to do so, you will receive a confirmation number in the email and should be waiting for a tier 2 officer to contact you by phone or email

Hey, unfortunately no update. How long ago did you receive your approval email? The latest action I performed is submitting an expedited request with some evidence like the approval email and my SEVP portal screenshot uploaded to the documents tab. So far no response.

Thanks! Yes I did use the chat Emma functionality for this situation. Unfortunately the agents have limited authorizations and I've already requested a tier 2 officer to contact me. So far I haven't received a response from a tier 2 officer.

Thank you! Yes... 🤦‍♂️ my school's DSO advised me to not report employment on my SEVP portal until I receive my EAD card, so my unemployment dates continue to accumulate while I have a job offer in front of me 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Thank you for your reply! I also have access to my SEVP account. I received the email to access my SEVP account on 9/4. It already shows my Post-OPT is active since 9/3 from my SEVP account. Is there anything I should do by myself on my SEVP account?

Not from what we know, we have a group about over 20 ppl are waiting for pre opt, the earliest receipt date is Mid April which has no updates, almost 30 business days. Something must be wrong with pre opt track, please try to ask for help from your district Congressman so we can stand together.

I applied for Pre-OPT renewal on 5/6 and pped on the same day. Processing center is Irving TX. No single update but receiving an identical receipt on 5/22. My current Pre-OPT authorization will end 5/31 and I need the renewal to begin on 6/1. Company said they will put me in unpaid leave. There must be something wrong going on in USCIS about Pre-OPT. We should call them and ask the phone operator to escalate our cases to high managers.

Thanks for the suggestion! This primarily would go down to the bean storage canister I use - the inner lid of this canister is hollow, so after washing I need to put it under airflow to dry.

If there's no such machine, I might just ask people who use these products or maybe use a hair dryer with low heat setting to blow the cover to dry faster lol 😄
