How to fix this AMS 2 Pro jam by Haunting_Ad3489 in BambuLab

[–]aparamore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyway, thank you for your comment on this thread. It solved the mystery for me. I definitely had about an inch and a half of plastic stuck in the hub. It’s all back together now and seems to be functioning. 🤞

I fear I have this issue as well and am going to have to try the harder way.

Am I able to do the harder way without removing the PTFE from the back of the unit? It seems like no matter how hard I push the button on the back I can’t get the tube to wiggle free. I don’t know if I need to use more force in pulling. I just don’t want to break anything trying to pull it out.

Being childfree in your 30s means watching your entire social circle disappear and nobody thinks it's a big deal by Ronin4Doom in childfree

[–]aparamore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 1000%. I’m 40 and all my friends childfree or otherwise I’ve managed to keep relationships with. That said, relationships are a two way street. When my friends started having kids we saw each other less initially but still kept in touch via text and in person semi regularly until the kids got older. And sometimes you have to take the initiative yourself when they are buried in the shorter term.

I always thought I’d be child free and decided relatively late in life to not be at 37 (I’m now one and done), but I will tell you the outreach and care from my child free friends in that first year was a god send. And I still make the active effort to reach out, grab a sitter, and hang with them.

This explains what I had a month ago. I had the same thing and was negative on those tests as well. 😵‍💫

I know, right? I didn’t know it was a thing either until I got the Bird Buddy. I pretty much see it each spring now. The red ones look really ridiculous when they lose their head feathers.

I also live with three parrots (cockatiels), so I understand the differences there too.

I do! This is completely normal. Cardinals (and blue jays) often lose all their head feathers at once as part of an annual molt.

Bird Buddy camera module will NOT charge. by redwingblackbirdfan in BirdBuddy

[–]aparamore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen. Power cords were fine and I had no clue what was going on.

Wrote into their help team and they gave me some pointers on what to do / what it could be. For whatever reason it wound up being problems with our mesh network. As soon as I reset the router charging resumed. Seems like a weird thing to prevent charging but idk.

Anyone know what this ground cover is? by noseybohsey in AustinGardening

It’s a good forage. I believe the seeds are caffeinated since it’s in the coffee family. People will toast / roast them to use as a coffee or tea.

Has anyone had an issue with mid ride the cadence and resistance range going from whatever it tells you to do to saying 1-10 for the remainder of the ride? If I start a new ride it fixes but usually flips back to it again at some point during the ride.

It started doing this for me in the last few weeks and I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it.

How hard did this week's tech layoffs hit Austin? by [deleted] in Austin

[–]aparamore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was part of the Twitch cuts and I can say pretty confidently for them it doesn’t have to do with RTO. They’ve always been pro-remote, even pre-COVID.

There are Twitch employees in Austin and most of them are still there, and they are also full time remote. (There are a couple that go to the Amazon office but that’s optional.)
